Those words startled y/n, she wasn't expecting any kind of confession today.. The man is still staring at her deeply in the eyes, he knows very well that there is no mutual feelings, or perhaps there wasn't any to start with, but maybe...maybe the impossible happens today. nevertheless, it's all just his maybe's and what if's that seem so impossible to even reach for a man like him.
y/n didn't know what to respond she doesn't want to hurt his feelings! and of course she also don't want to be in that kind of relationship especially with her bestfriend. and takashi noticed which he smiled on forcefully as he slowly removed his hands on y/n's thigh "U-uh you don't need to respond to it haha, i just wanted to let you know..." He joked, laughing awkwardly to break the silence.

the sudden noise made the duo flinch distracting them from their oh-so awkward conversation "You might wanna go now, we don't want to get sue here hmm" takashi added. "Y-yes thank you for the ride.. i'll get going now. Take care!" y/n replied with a nervous tone.
"goodnight y/n" he muttered in a calm tone giving her a soft smile, yet his eyes is coated with sadness...a very thick one. "Goodnight takashi." y/n watched him drove away before entering the building after.
