"You've got to believe me, y/n! " Kakucho exclaimed, unconcerned about attracting attention with his loudness; what matters now is the woman walking away from him; she didn't say anything about not believing it; she simply just wanted more time.
The woman came to a halt and turned her head in the direction of the man. She smiled and rushed outside the restaurant, rushing to call a cab since she didn't want kakucho to catch up with her; however, now that kakucho has revealed his side of the story, her choice has vanished. She doesn't believe it since it appeared too good to be true. But there's a part of her that insists on believing it.

The only way for her to prove it now is to take the shot which she told Kakucho about. Nonetheless, he denied it. It would've been lot better if he'd told her why, but he didn't. Though, as we all know, Kakucho has a motive for everything he does. it's up to us if we'd trust him or not.
