We all went to the dining, it was an outdoor dinning just at the center of the field, they were three tables with twenty chairs rounding each table.
I sat at the middle of Zainab, Adesua, Jane, Laura, Faith, Dami and Tracy. At our front were Stacy and her boyfriend with two other cute dudes.
Stacy just kept hovering around the James guy at a point he got annoyed and exchanged seats with the bushy hair guy at his left side, trust me it was quite a funny scene, i gave a slight chuckle and winked at Zainab who was smiling, Adesua noticed what was going on and used her leg to hit mine, we all laughed out loud making Stacy look at us and gave us a long hiss.
We were about to enjoy my meal Andrew came over to our seat grinning widely
"Hello ladies, Do you mind if I sit with you?" He asked with his wide grin
"Why?, Do you see any space or any dude here. Or were you born to stay with the ladies" I fired at him making him flinch a little
"Lauretta" Zainab called
"Oh please don't call me, There are other empty seats why do you choose to not we're the ladies are packed" I continued attracting people's stares
"Chill babe, I thought we were cool" He muttered under his breath
"Of course we're cool, I gat no beef with you, I just wanna be far away from you, so leave here" I said pointing my index finger towards the hostels
"Well, if you say so, I just pray you find a way to forgive me. Like I said I'm sorry" He said and left with shame plastered on his face,
Yeah I felt pity for the guy but I'm lauretta, I don't show my emotions but I could have taken it easy though
"Lauretta what's wrong with you, That dude has begged you, why turning him down, just be friendly to him please" Zainab said in a serious tone, this was the first time I saw her serious
"He deserves what hit him" I scoffed
"Just forgive the dude, he said he's sorry, just give him one friendly chance and stop showing attitude please" She said
"Whatever" I rolled my eye
"Girl, what Zainab is saying is the truth, you need to forgive Andrew, that guy still likes you, he's just trying to get your attention" Adesua chirped in
"He can go give his attention to Stacy," I said and stood up
"For now I'm done here, if you need me I'll be inside" I walked away but before I left I glanced at James, he winked at me but due to my anger I just left
On my way to the hostel I heard someone call me
"Hey"
I turned and saw Stacy catwalking towards me
"What's it?" I asked, I wasn't ready for talks
She gave a bitchy smile and said
"I know you have eyes for my James, I just wanna warn you to stay away from him, don't talk to him, don't look at him, don't think about him, don't even breath the same air which he does, he's mine and mine alone"
I gave a very loud laugh
"Who is your man, is he written all over your face, abegi go and sit down"
"I've left Andrew for you, take him back, he doesn't worth me" She smirked
"I can't go back to my past, forward ever backward never, so watch out" I hissed and walked away
She just stood there fuming like a slaughtered chicken
