Chapter 21

"Ah Rhea, your as lovely as ever," Adrian grinned.

I stood there silently as Rune bowed. He looked up at me apologetically. I nodded lightly hoping no one would notice. Adrian soon began to laugh.

"What's so funny?" I snapped.

"You my darling queen," he emphasized the word 'queen'.

"Me?" I glared.

"Yes you, you won't even bow to me," he sighed.

"That's because you are not my king," I spat.

Adrian stood slowly from his throne. Gracefully he strode towards me. His stride was long and as he got closer I realized just how much taller he was. He looked down at me with his smirk still plastered on his face.

Adrian reached his hand toward my face. I went ridged as his cold fingers touched my face.

"Your so tense, you'll have to learn to be less tense around me. We'll be together for a long time. Because my darling your here to save your friend and sister aren't you?" he stroked my cheek.

I pulled back and gritted my teeth, "Are they safe?"

"Of course," he stuck his hands in his suit pockets.

"Release them now,"I starred up at him hard.

He sighed, "very well, bring them in," he said with a wave of his hand. A guard rushed out into the hallway.

"I have a seat for you next to me," Adrian purred. Rune stood beside me and gave me a worried glance. Adrian took my hand and led me to a throne beside him.

"I hope you like it," he smiled and sat me down.

"Of course," I mumbled.

"Hm?" Adrian sat down in his throne.

"Oh nothing," I said sweetly.

Rune walked slowly and stood beside me. I glanced at him from the corner of my eye. He gave a small nod. Then the door suddenly creaked open. Tiana and Katherine were led in by guards.

I stood and rushed toward them. Tiana gasped as I reached her. Reaching out towards them I wrapped my wings around them. Everything was shaded and no sound would get through my wings.

"Are you all right?" I whispered just in case.

"Were fine," Katherine said.

"I was so scared," Tiana said quietly.

"It's ok, your sister has a plan," Katherine grinned.

"Yes you guys fly back to the castle when your set free and tell the others, alright? When I lift my wings I want u to act," I said quickly.

They nodded and lifted my wings away. Tiana began to cry and she wrapped her small arms around me. Katherine starred sadly at the floor.

"Why can't you come with us?" Tiana screeched.

"It's alright everything will be fine," I cooed and wrapped my arms around her.

A guard ripped her from me. I growled as they were led out.

"What a wonderful good bye," the boy from early approached me.

As he got closer, and with out me even thinking I threw my fist to his face. He was sent flying back and I could see the blood streaming down his face. The man started laughing at the boy as he helped him up.

"Damn," he said through the blood.

A laugh came from behind me. "My you are a lot feistier than I can remember," Adrian mused.
