"Yo!" Alex's voice came as a warning before I felt his arm curl around my shoulder.

"Hey." I mumbled and slammed my locker shut.

"Hey." Seb greeted when he fell into step with the two of us.

It had been eating away at me since the bathroom incident during lunch and I couldn't help but ask. "Okay, really weird question, but were you guys outside the bathrooms during my lunch?"

Seb and Alex shared a confused look, "Which bathrooms?"

"D-wing."

"Nah." Alex answered first with a shake of his head, "I was too busy getting my ass kicked by Julius Caesar." He scoffed, "Honestly, what's the point of literature? Do teachers really think I want to be reading a book, and memorising shit, about a guy who murdered his friend? I can barely get myself to even open my Physics textbook and that's, well, Physics!" He exasperated.

I blinked at him, sparing him a nod, "That's nice. What about you?" I asked, blatantly ignoring Alex's splutters at my disregard towards his literature issues.

"PE." Seb's eyes shifted from me to his twin, "If you hate literature now, you're gonna hate it even more next year. It only gets worse."

"I know." Alex groaned and threw his head back.

"I have no problems with it." I shrugged nonchalantly.

"That's because you're doing Romeo and Juliet." Alex deadpanedd. "Everyone either read, like, half the book or just skipped the book entirely and watched one of the thousand movies made about it."

I frowned at him, "Stop undermining my ability to understand literature just 'cause you're suffering."

"Not undermining anything." Alex's arm disappeared from my shoulder for a second long enough for him to hold his arms up in mock-surrender before dropping them back down. "I'm just saying." I felt the movement of his body against my side as he shrugged.

"Sure." I droned.

Conversation continued to flow, mainly with Alex talking and Seb and I occasionally giving out own input.

"Okay-" I stopped Alex as the three of us started nearing the door. I shoved his arm off my shoulder and swerved to the side so I was standing on the other side of Seb, a little distance away from both of them.

At the questioning looks they both shot me, I elaborated, "Need to put a little distance or my brother will freak."

"Th-"
