Saturday came faster than I thought it would. The entire week, I ignored Avery. I didn't ignore Blake, Kaden and Hayes because even they knew about it, they weren't the ones that told Ashley I was in the hospital for an accidental overdose.

Waking up on Saturday morning, I didn't put a lot of effort into my outfit. An oversized Marvel hoodie, dark wash blue jeans and black sneakers.

I walked into the elevator and pressed that button for the first Floor. When I walked into the kitchen, none of my brothers were there. Considering it was 7 AM on a Saturday morning, I didn't expect either of them from Avery to Damon to be awake and Ryder, Elijah, Luciano and Darius were either working on the fourth floor or they left to go to work where they had an actual building and not one floor of a mansion.

Pouring myself a small bowl of Fruity Pebbles cereal and adding milk, I ate my breakfast quickly. After I ate, I rinsed my dishes and out them in the dishwasher.

It was a rule in my brothers house that Avery, Kaden, Blake, Hayes and I had three meals a day. Breakfast, lunch and dinner, no exceptions. If any of the five of us were to not obey that rule, we would face small punishments like washing the dishes or getting our phones taken away. If it were an instance like that Saturday morning where none of my brothers were there to see if I did have breakfast, somehow they found out anyway.

Yesterday I woke up earlier than all of my brothers by some miracle and I tried skipping breakfast by telling all of them that I had already ate when they came down for breakfast. I had no idea but Elijah and Ryder were the first ones to pick up that I was lying and I was forced to have cereal.

When I got back to my room, I grabbed my phone and my AirPods went to sit at my windowseat.

A knock at my bedroom door made me pull my AirPods out of my ears and I looked at my door as it was being pushed open.

Damon stood there with a smirk on his face and leaned against my doorframe with arms crossed over his chest. "You're awake." Damon commented.

"You know opening the door before I say, "Come in" defeats the purpose of you knocking, right?" I retorted, giving Damon a pointed look.

"Well you said it now, didn't you?" Damon shrugged innocently, the smirk never leaving his lips.

Not in the mood to argue, I huffed softly to myself. "Can I help you with something?" I asked and tried not to let the annoyance seep into my voice.

"Dial it down on the attitude, Adrian." Damon pushed himself off the doorframe, his eyes hardening and his lips forming a thin line.

"Sorry." I mumbled.
