"Come in, Adrian." Luciano's deep voice sounded from inside.
I exhaled sharply before turning the knob and pushing the door open. Luciano was sat behind his office desk, his eyes trained in me. It was truly intimidating. "Sit." Luciano gestured to the two black leather seats in front of him.
I walked over to him slowly and sat down cautiously, avoiding looking into his emerald green eyes and I did. I looked around, my gaze landing on his shelves and the window behind him but never at Luciano.
"So, Adrian, I hope you haven't forgotten everything that Darius told you this morning." Luciano started, not letting any emotion seep into his voice.
I shook my head, "I didn't." I still didn't meet Luciano's gaze.
"Good." He gave me a curt nod, "Now while we're here, I'd like to talk you about what is expected of you."
Expected of me? Am I a work employee or his sister?
"Now I've heard from Aiden and from your old school records tht you are academically inclined and I, as well as Darius, would like you to keep up youe grades." I didn't respond and he took it as a chance to continue talking, "In order to keep your grades up there will be no distractions. School is to be your main focus and I understand as a teenager, you have a life other than work, and I do not mind that as long as you keep up with work. But there are to be no boys and no dating, Adrian."Luciano spoke firmly.
I frowned slightly and resisted the urge to scoff. As if I would ever get a boyfriend. "Okay." I nodded.
"Now Tuesday is your first day of school. Either Ryder or Elijah will be taking you shopping today for school supplies." I took it in, "Everyday, you will be at school by 7:15 AM sharp and brought home from school at 2:30 PM by either Avery, Blake, Hayes or Kaden and if not them, then one of your other brothers will be there to pick you up." I wanted to protest but refrained from opening my mouth, "If you have to stay after school or you're going out, you will inform one of them or me or Darius, is that clear?"
"Yes." I nodded.
"I'm sure during the tour, Hayes told you that you are not allowed on the top floor." I didn't respond so Luciano continued talking, "Adrian, we are telling you that for your own protection."
Protection? What the hell would I need of protecting from in the house?
"The fourth floor is where we run our businesses from home and it is no place for a child." Luciano said smoothly like he planned this out.
I wanted to speak out against him and say that I am not a child when this morning's events hit me. I already pissed him off and I didn't want to do that again.
