I shot up from bed with a gasp. Big mistake. I groaned softly at the impact it put on my already injured ribs and hissed in pain after attempting to touch them. Dumb mistake. I needed more painkillers.
Slowly, I lowered my legs onto the rug below me. I checked the time on my phone that was still plugged into the charger. I woke up at 5 AM in the morning on a Sunday! When I stepped out of my room, the house was completely silent meaning my brothers were all still sleeping or they weren't here.
I stepped into the elevator and pressed the second button, going to the first floor. I made my way to the kitchen and looked around all the cabinets, wondering which was the medicine cabinet.
I took a chance and opened one randomly, finding it stacked with plates. I closed the cupboard door and moved on to the next. I started opening random doors and drawers until I eventually found the painkillers in a cabinet flled with other medicine.
I grabbed the Paracetamol, tipping the container into the palm of my hand. Four pills fell out and I contemplated taking all four but decided against it, not wanting to see what the consequences were. I set the container on the white and black granite kitchen counter and dropped two pills back in the corner.
I remembered Kaden telling me where the glasses were yesterday so I went to the cabinet in the corner and grabbed a glass. I made my way over to the sink and filled the glass up with water, downing the pills and a huge gulp of water. I rinsed my glass and putting on the dish rack before making my way back I where I left the container of pills. I closed the container and put the pills back on the shelf where I found them and closed the cupboard door softly.
I made my way out of the kitchen and back to my room in the elevator. Once I was back in my room, I went into the bathroom and opened one of the cabinets below the sink. I pulled out a random tube of toothpaste and one of the three toothbrushes in the cabinet.
After I brushed the teeth and ran my fingers through my copper brown hair, I made my way out of my bathroom. I went into my closet and grabbed my black Iron Man hoodie, a pair of dark was blue jeans, my white Converse and underwear and socks. I made my way back to my bathroom and set the clothes down on the counter next the sink.
After a quick shower, I walked out of my room fully dressed and my naturally straight copper brown hair falling past my shoulders down to my lower back. I went over to my nightstand and unplugged my phone from the charger and I grabbed my AirPods case. I connected my AirPods to my phone and Angels 'n Demons by Jxdn started playing.
I left the song to play while I went back the elevator and went downstairs again, going to the kitchen. I hummed approvingly to myself when an idea popped into my head.
