The weekend passed by in an in uneventful blur and to be honest, it shocked me. Since I've been living with brothers, there's been nothing but drama and an entire weekend with peace surprised the hell out of me.
Sadly, that peace didn't last because on Monday morning, I was waking up to the blaring of the alarm I set of my phone and it was not pleasant, at all.
Huffing in irritation, I threw the covers off me and stormed to my closet. It was not one of my best mornings, that's for sure. Grabbing the first things I saw from the shelves and the clothes racks, I stormed out of my closet and into my bathroom.
After brushing me teeth and a warm but short shower, I walked out of my bathroom dressed and feeling less grumpy than I did when I woke up but still irritated.
I did not want to go to school.
Stopping at my vanity, I brushed my copper brown hair out and left it in its natural waves cascading down my back and parted in the middle. Eyeing my outfit in the full body mirror against my door one more time, I shook my head.
Playing around with my t-shirt, I tucked the grey Nike t-shirt into my light wash, ripped blue skinny jeans and adjusted the black jean jacket. Turning around and going back to my closest, I grabbed the pair of Nike Jordan Air Dior sneakers Ryder bought and suffered for a solid ten minutes putting the shoes on.
With a satisfied grunt, I stood up from the couch in my closet and walked out, closing the closet door behind me.
I went over to my nightstand and grabbed the two rings I got on Friday from Darius and Luciano and put both of them on my ring finger on my right hand. Grabbing my phone and AirPods that were next to the rings, I left my room ready for school.
I walked into the elevator and pressed the button leading to the first floor, leaning against the glass door while the elevator moved.
By some miracle, I didn't see any of my youngest older brothers the entire weekend. Unfortunately, I had no such luck this morning because when I walked into the kitchen, all my brothers were having breakfast besides Darius and Luciano.
Everyone simultaneously glanced at me and looked away while I sat in the seat between Elijah and Ryder, which in my opinion was the safest.
