So after she comes home she started doing her homework which has given today. Then she remembered that she had asked for notes so she decided to go to anirudh house. She goes downstairs and was about to reach the main door devoleena sees her and says
Devoleena: ayy kaha jaa rhi he chal idhar aa aur bartan manjh kamchor kahi ki. He kaali maa, kaha fasa diya mujhe is bachi ke saath ja jaldi kam karr.
Bondita went did every work in 2 hours her hands were hurting soo bad but she continues to do her work then devoleena comes and says
Devoleena: chal chal ho gya jaa abh huh .
Bondita sir hila ti he aur chali jati he. Darwaza ko band karti he (usne lock nhi kiya he) aur vo bahut roti he uski kismat me. Tabhi anirudh ata hai aur devoleena se puchta hai ki bondita hai kya? Vo usko notes dene the, vo nhi aai toh me aa gaya.
Devoleena: ha hogi apne kamre me beta tum roy choudhury haveli se ho na suna mene jao khelo bondita ke saath upar he.(Politely)
Anirudh went upstairs and opened the door, seeing her this way his heart ached the notebook fell from his hands. He ran to bondita and started panicking.
Anirudh: bondita tum thik ho? Ye kya haal bana liya he tumne apna mujhe batao kya hua he plz. (Tears were also running down from his cheeks)
Bondita: kuch nhi anirudh bas vo.. vo kuch nhi thanks notes dene ke liye (she took notebook and kept it on the table) me abhi aii (she went to washroom)
She came out of the washroom and fake smiled to anirudh. Anirudh held her shoulders.
Anirudh: bondita tum ro kyu rhi thi plz batao mujhe plz ek dost samjh ke bata do.
Bondita: kuch...ku..kuch nhi anirudh everything is fine.
Anirudh: bondita nothing is fine see these tears on your face. Bolona bondita kya hua he plzzzzz!
Bondita finally broke down and hugged him.
Bondita: anirudh mujhe nhi pata ye mere saath hi kyu ho rha he chachi bahut buri he anirudh bahut buri mujhse ghar ka sab kaam karwati he aur fir bhi kamchor kehti he sirf thakumaa hi he jo mujhe samjhti he pyaar karti he aur koi mujhse yaha pyaar nhi karta chacha chachi hamesha dat te rehte he anirudh mujhe bilkul accha nhi lagta shotti!!
Anirudh broke the hug, wiped her tears and made her sit on the bed and he sat on his knees in front of her.
Anirudh: ab bolo bondita ye tumhare chacha chachi itne bure kyu he??
Bondita: Anirudh jab me 5 saal ki thi toh maa baba chhor ke chale gaye the ek accident me aur me soch rhi thi ki me anath hu toh kuon mujhe sahara dega kyunki mene suna tha gaon (village) me ki anath logo ko taane sunne padte hai aur unke ghar se bhi nikal doya jata hai. Chacha mujhe mujhse bahut ache se rehte the fir thakumaa ne ghar ko sambhalne ke liye chacha ki shadi kara di. Aur chacha fir bure ban gaye. Dantne lage. Thakumaa ne mujhe bara kiya aur chachi, vo toh bilkul buri sirf paiso se matlab he unko aur thakumaa ko kush karke vo iss ghar ki chabia (keys) lena chahati he isliye ghar ke saare kam mujhse karwati he. (She said while sobbing)
Here anirudh was feeling so bad for bondita but he cupped her face and gently wiped her tears and sat beside her on the bed holding her hands.
Anirudh: koii baat nhi bondita abb me agaya hu na kuch kaam nhi karogi tum me tumari thakumaa ko bolunga ki tumhari chachi bahut buri he aur tumse kaam karati he fir dekhna sab thik ho jayega.
Bondita (looked at him pinched her neck): shotti??
Anirudh chuckled and did the same way : shotti
Bondita: pata hai anirudh kisine mujhe itne pyaar se nhi samjhaya, mera toh koi dost bhi nhi tha purane school me, ek tum hi ho mere pehle dost wada karo hamesha mera saath doge chhor ke kabhi nhi jaoge.
Anirudh: wada karta hu bondita ye haath aur tumhara saath kabhi bhi chhorunga. Shotti (pinching his neck)
Bondita jumped said yay and started clapping.
Anirudh: chalo bondita ek aur meri dost he use milata hu tumhe vo bhi bahut acchi he.
Bondita: thik hai anirudh chalte hai
They walked to a home holding each other hands, smiling.
