Being someone that lives up to their word was something you valued and appreciated in people and Jimin sure had that good trade for he always had kept his words to you so far and you couldn't help but be happy about that yet right at that very instant, you were wishing that he could have been joking on that text of his. A wish that was far from reality for he hadn't stopped looking your way with a suggestive look and smirking from time to time while his lecture was ongoing.

At this point, the students around you had not failed to detect towards whom all those looks and smiles were for and they were frequently taking glances at you making you rather uncomfortable with their attention as well as making you sure that they are gonna gossip about you after this was over. Some of them were most likely dying to do so already but they didn't found the courage to touch their phones while in Jimin's class.

The topic he was talking about today in his philosophy class was also very important and engaging, regardless that he personally was using it to slyly leave under comments that only you would understand. "Is it easier to love or be loved?" He had written on the board then had proceeded to question his students about it while guiding them to ask about his viewpoint on the matter just so he could publicly start speaking about how great someone's love can make you feel and how greater loving that right person can end up being. All while shamelessly staring at you as if there weren't so many people surrounding you.

However, he had not stopped like that, despite the fact that your shyness had started showing and you were literally trying to hide out of his sight at that moment, lowering your head and regretting the fact that you had no books around to cover your face with. A flustered state which Jimin found quite cute and if he wasn't in the position he was, he would have most likely showered you with kisses right now.

"Whichever you choose however there comes a bar with it. For we each have some kind of inner mechanism that filters people and decides who we accept and who we don't. And that goes for love too, no matter how much someone loves you if it doesn't click and it's not from the person that you want to, then that love doesn't feel good. And vice versa. Loving someone feels good only when that person is right for you, otherwise, no matter how much love you give, it's gonna leave you with an ugly taste." Jimin added on his explanation, making your chaotic thoughts halt for a moment as his words felt way too personal for him for he definitely had lived that way too well but you were the only one aware of that.

"In conclusion, I believe none is easy. Being loved is not easy for there comes responsibilities with that and the pressure of maintaining that spot. The fear of disappointing whoever loves you or not being able to love them equally. And loving someone comes with the risk of being disappointed and let down yourself. For you can never be sure if someone can handle the way you love and the weight your emotions can take. Love regardless everything is a topic you should never see as easy nor as monochrome for both parties agreed to play and as such, there's no absolute victim. There are just two players that will both get wounded yet one gets the victor label for his scars doesn't show immediately and the feeling of pain is gonna hit him later. So if you have ever been hurt, remember. If you got out as the loser, you are the one that recognized your wounds sooner and tended to them soon and as such you will heal and get better and the winner will be the one who will most likely look uglier as he goes on with his life, for he never saw what he caused and what he received."

The whole auditorium left a simultaneous exhale of admiration as soon as he finished his words for he had managed to make many relate to what he said and had also given them courage that being the broken one was not the end of it, at all. There were many people in that room, some that thought of their parents when he spoke about the fact that getting loved can hurt you for it can become a golden cage. And some that thought of past lovers and broken relationships that had left them feeling defeated for loving, or stressed for being love in a way they couldn't handle. Humanity was full of such struggles and Jimin was more than aware of that when he uttered those words then left his eyes to travel at you, -who to his surprise- were looking at him without hiding your face behind your hand or avoiding eye contact.
