I7th July . 3 days until the Wedding. Angie was still concerned about Herman. He was still acting odd and avoiding talking to anyone especially Angie. Herman was sat in his office with Ramallo.
Ramallo “Is everything okay Herman?. You seem distracted”.
Herman “I’m fine Ramallo. Just thinking”.
Ramallo “About what?”.
Herman “Maria”.
Ramallo “What about Maria?”.
Herman “Do you think I’m trying to replace her by marrying Angie?”.
Ramallo “Sorry for what I’m about to say Herman but I think you’re talking absolute rubbish. Don’t you love her?”.
Herman “I do”. Herman seemed apprehensive.
Ramallo “But?”.
Herman “But I do miss Maria”.
Ramallo “Of course you will it’s natural. However she will always be a part of you and apart of Angie too. You need to move on and Angie is the right person to do that with”.
Herman “Your right. I need to talk to Angie”. Ramallo nodded in agreement.
……..4 Hours Later…….
Angie was sat on the sofa reading a bridal magazine when Herman sat next to her. He took the magazine out of her hands.
Herman “Angie we really need to talk”.
Angie “Okay Herman I’m listening”.
Herman “The reason I’ve been distant is because of Maria”.
Angie “What do you mean Maria?”.
Herman “I’ve been thinking lot about her”.
Angie “okay. What are you trying to say?”.
Herman “The reason I’ve been is because I thought I was trying to replace Maria”.
Angie “With me?. Herman nodded. He then grabbed Angie’s hands.
Herman “And now I realise I’m not. I love you Angie. I want to grow old with you”.
Angie didn’t know what to say until she spoke up.
Angie “I need some air”. She got up and left.
……..2 Hours Later……….
Angie was at a bar with Florence, Grace and Chloe.
Florence “What’s the matter Angie?”.
Angie “Herman said he feels like he’s replacing Maria with me”.
Grace “I knew he would hurt you again”.
Chloe “I know I’m normally the loud one but it doesn’t mean that he doesn’t love you and less”.
Florence “Yeah Chloe’s right. You need to go talk to him Angie”.
Angie “I will but not yet. I want a drink”.
Florence, Chloe and Grace looked at each other unsure.
