Angie returned to the house and went to the kitchen to make a cup of tea. She heard loud footsteps coming towards her. It was Herman.
Herman “Angie I really need to talk to you”.
Angie “I need to talk to you too”.
Herman “Let’s go into the living room”. Herman ushered Angie into the living room. They sat down on the sofa.
Herman “Angie what I said about Maria I didn’t mean it. I was just thinking a lot about Maria and how she would feel about us. I now know that she’d be happy that were together. I love you so much Angie. I want to marry you”. He pleaded.
Angie “When you said that it felt like someone ripped out my heart. I thought you didn’t love me anymore”. Herman grabbed Angie’s hands.
Herman “I’m so sorry Angie. I love you more than anything. I want to grow old with you”.
Angie “I believe you Herman. I love you”.
Herman “Can I ask. Is there going to be a Wedding?”.
Angie “Yes there is”. Herman smiled brightly.
Herman “Yess!”. He spun Angie around and then pulled her into his embrace.
Angie “To close for comfort Herman”. She teased.
Herman “Well I’m not letting you go”. He kissed Angie passionately.
