Chapter 12

Y/N's POV

Was I a little harsh on Juyeon? I asked myself as the male walked away from me. I bit my lip and sighed before shrugging it off.

It's still early and I don't have enough sleep too. I sat back in bed and closed my eyes hoping that I can sleep or make myself fall asleep of some sort.

As the door knob rattled, I covered myself with the blanket and pretended I went back to sleep, my heart couldn't stop beating again and again.

The soft click of the door and the body sitting on the other side of bed was the only thing I heard and felt.

Soft sighs were heard after it.

" No matter what happens you wouldn't mind staying with me right?"the boy asked almost cracked from his own question.

The voice of Juyeon made me feel safe again.

" It's funny how I still tried to get you again and again. I missed the old us, I miss the dates we did long time ago, where we both live together, but then again I would lose you again."he said.

He was sniffling, he was crying, how I badly wanted to hug him right now.

" Y/N, all I wanted was to live the life we both wanted to, a life where our story won't restart again and again."he said.

I was confused about what he was talking about, does he know me before I knew him?

" A life where you and I won't be separated by the promise you made on that faithful day."he added and it hit me hard.

I remembered the dream......the dream where I promised to Juyeon in his arms. But that couldn't be real, dreams are just dreams, right?

" The curse........the curse is the biggest stress I have right now......I can't hold you like I used to before.........if.....if I feel love, my heart would start to beat again, it would be painful as hell......so I tried to distance and it only made it worse.....it made it very worse, it made me miss you more than ever."he said and I felt butterflies in my stomach.

Curse.........so the curse was real? That dream I just had was real, I died in his arms......the others are vampires.

But why? Why did they do it? Why did they kill me infront of him while strangling him?

It made me a little frustrated but I know they have their own reasons and I won't be mad unless the answers they give me are bullshits.

Juyeon's POV

I sighed as I wiped my tears from my eyes and looked at the bright and shining moon.

" Tell me, what did the both of us do to deserve such punishment?"I asked the moon and laughed at myself.

" I'm going crazy, of course the moon won't answer...........but why? Why did you pick us?"I asked bitterly as I clasped my hands and looked at the floor in bitterness.

" Why out of all couples, you choose to punish us?"I asked and cried silently.

Suddenly someone hugged me at the back.

" Stop crying, it hurts me seeing you in pain and sadness."

Her soft worried voice made me feel slight pain on my heart.

" Why are you awake? Go back to sleep."I said as I wiped my tears and smiled at her.

" I hate it."she said while looking at me.

" Hate what?"I asked her.

" I hate it when you try to be okay when you're really not."she said and frowned.

" It's just nothing Y/N."I said and smiled for her but she wasn't even believing a single smile.

" Stop pretending Juyeon, I heard everything, I heard what you said, the curse, the promise, I heard, everything."she said and I smiled bitterly.

" So now you would leave m-"

I stopped when she hugged me tightly.

" Stop.......just stop......whatever it takes, I won't leave you."she said and I couldn't help but to feel my eyes cry the water out.

" Who said I would leave you?"she said and dried my tears.

" After all the years that passed by, I only get to see you again."she said and it made my heart hurt.

She got shocked and stopped touching me.

" But then I can't touch you."she said and pouted as I laughed a little.

" It's fine, as long as I know that you will stay with me."I said and she nodded and yawned.

" Sleep."I said and she smiled and nodded.

" Stay?"I asked and I smiled.

" Oh Princess, if you knew how I always stayed here guarding you at night."I said and she smiled as she closed her eyes.

" It's nice knowing that......I have my own protector at night........"she said and went to sleep.

Third Person's POV

As the girl slept, Juyeon never stopped looking at her face while beeing alert for any intruders in the room.

Jacob and Younghoon on the other hand were on the tree looking at the two meters away.

They couldn't help but to smile at the two.

" I hope this time they can solve it."Younghoon said and Jacob nodded.

" I hope so too, Sangyeon hyung on the other hand....."Jacob trailed off and he sighed.

" Let's head back."Younghoon said and Jacob shooked his head.

" If he sees us together he would know your not on his side, you can go back to the house, I'll probably ask Juyeon to stay on the house, you have to check on Sangyeon."Jacob said and Younghoon nodded.

After Younghoon left Jacob then asked Juyeon if he can, the male nodded and Jacob smiled.

" Thank you."Jacob said and Juyeon just smiled at him.
