When I was little I used to love trying on my mother's wedding dress. By age 11 I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted my wedding to look like. Although looking back on it, my theme surely would not be sparkles, rainbows, and unicorns anymore.

I'm sure Gianni would be heartbroken about that last bit.

When I was dating Malik, we had never spoken of marriage. In the end, that turned out to be a good thing. I knew that in my heart of hearts, it would've never worked out long term for us.

The idea of being married and happily in love was pushed to the back of my mind.

And yet here I am, happily engaged to the love of my life. I just never thought that of all people, that man would be Alessandro De'luca.

''Do you like it?'' Alessandro took my hand in his as he wrapped a strong arm around my waist. He examined the ring that now sparkled due to the sun shining on this side of the property.

''I love it. It's so beautiful, St.'' I smile uncontrollably as a blush forms on his cheeks. I could tell that he had been nervous about his choice of ring, but in the end, he did an amazing job.

He dropped my hand as he turned his body into mine, dipping his head into my neck. I stood on my tip-toes, wrapping my arms around his broad shoulders as he brushed his nose against the skin of my neck.

Alessandro took a deep inhale, his exhale tickling the sensitive spot behind my ear causing me to squirm in his hold. His grip tightened around my waist, keeping me still against his hard and warm body.

"I'm so glad that you're happy, butters." I pull back so that I could see his face. His brilliant ocean blue eyes started to water up slightly.

"I'll always be happy with you, you know that."

Alessandro licks his bottom lip before a sexy smirk begins to form on his face. Long gone was the soft facial expression he sported a mere few seconds ago, and in its place was a look full of mischief, and sinful promises for as soon as he got me alone.

"I hope you feel that way ten years down the line," he joked as pulled me closer to his body, if that was even possible. His hands slid down my back and rested just above my ass.

" I will, no matter how much your snoring annoys me." I smile as he shakes his head, the outline of his tongue poking his cheek turned me on slightly.

Okay maybe a lot.

"Alright lover boy," Alessandro let out a small groan as the girls approached behind him. He turned around, his hands still on my waist as he shifted to stand behind my back.

Alessandro rested his chin on top of my head as he clasped his hand on my stomach.

"Yes Ivy?" His tone was dripping with sass as he stared down our best friend.
