A/N: Hey guys so sorry for the long pause in updates things have been extremely hectic in my personal life and there's just been so much going with going back to in-person school and sat's I haven't had any time to write. Thank you all for being so patient
It was a few hours after Emilia and Lexi had gotten in their arguments. Both girls had stayed in their room ever since. It was now dinner time and everyone except them had gathered at the dining table.
Allegra: Luca go and call Emilia and Lexi down for dinner
Luca: Are you sure
Allegra: Go
Luca: Okayy
Luca went and knocked on both their doors and told them to come down for dinner. Emilia and Lexi both saw each other as they were making their way down, and gave each other a look before taking different ways to the dining table. They took seats on opposite sides of the table and glared at each other the whole time. Making everyone feel the tension. Bella still had no idea the triplets were in New York and were coming to their school. Emilia and Lexi both grab the tongs at the same and glare at each other before both letting go. They both reach for it again when Adrain grabs it first and puts a drumstick on each of their plates "Here" while they glare at him.
Everyone eats quietly and watches Emilia and Lexi intently. In an attempt to break the silence Matei asks "Sooo how was everyones day?" Which he would later realize was a mistake.
Lucian: Pretty good
Stefan: Had a lot of homework
Luca: I just played games
Lexi: Mine was very enlightening
Emilia: So was mine learned I had a stalker
Lexi: Oh so I'm a stalker now
Emilia: I never said your name, but I'm glad your aware of yourself
Lexi: mumbles "Least I'm not a liar"
Emilia: huh you're one to talk stalker
Allegra: Ok that's it what is going with you two
Emilia&Lexi; Nothing
Allegra: Emilia where did you really go today
Emilia: The Lincoln theater
Allegra: Did you go anywhere else
Emilia: There was a hotel nearby, they have a restaurant so I got some food and met with someone I knew
Lexi scoffs
Allegra: Lexi is there something you'd like to say
Lexi: No I'm good
Allegra: Are you sure
Lexi: Yup
Luca: Ahem sooo
Allegra: Hold on, Bella is there something going on we'll always be there to help. You know that right
Bella gives a nod with a smile and goes back to eating her food.
Lexi gets up and grabs Bella by the arm and starts to lead her away from the table when a hand grabs hers stopping her.
Emilia: What are you doing?
Lexi: Telling her the truth, something you won't do
Emilia: Because it'll hurt her, why can't you understand that
Lexi: I'm telling her the truth all of it, grabs Bella's hand and rushes with her out the door.
Emilia frustratingly ran her fingers through hair then banged her on the table and threw and cup at the wall leaving glass shattered before running after them leaving everyone in shock.
Lucian: What the fuck just happened
