Lisa felt the cold water trail from her forehead down to her eyelids, making her close her eyes in reflex. She gripped the sides of the sink so tight that her knuckles started to hurt, and yet she felt so surreal, like everything around her was a dream and none of them were tangible. Her shirt was getting soaked from the droplets that had managed to drip from her chin, but she didn't feel the coldness it brought, only the warmth that her body was emitting, especially from the spot on her chest where Jennie had laid her head while they cuddled until the sun rose.

She heaved a sigh; the breath coming out of her mouth was shaky and warm to her lips.

The warmth was real, she thought, but she stared at her own reflection like it wasn't herself that she was seeing on the mirror.

Lisa held a hand up to her chest, on top of her heart, and felt it beating rather strongly. She breathed in deeply and the lingering scent of Jennie's hair invaded her nose and her mind, and it made her smile.

For the first time in years, she didn't know what to do. She felt like she had just learned how to fall in love for the first time, and it was making her giddy and nervous and foolishly, foolishly idiotic.

Jennie was back in her life yet she found herself locked in the washroom, drowning her face on the sink, doing every unnecessary thing just to prolong the time that she had to face Jennie again.

'Patheti—'

"Lisa? You okay in there?" She heard the soft knock.

Jennie's voice rang from outside the washroom door and no matter how muffled it came out, Lisa still felt all the hairs on her body stand on end just by the mere sound of it. Somehow, she hated how every little thing about the other girl affected her.

Yet she loved how they're affecting her too. The thought was confusing but Jennie was confusing and so was she.

"U-Uh, yeah. Sorry, I'm almost finished," she croaked.

"Okay. I already called room service for our breakfast."

"I'll be right out."

She heard Jennie's retreating footsteps and only then had she managed to let out the breath she didn't know she was holding.

Lisa looked at her reflection again before shaking her head and chuckling.

'So pathetic.'

"So what's the deal with you two now?"

Jennie watched Chaeyoung sip her drink before focusing her attention back to Lisa, who was deliberating with Seulgi on another table. She couldn't hear the conversation clearly, but the words she picked up were enough for her to deduce that they were probably planning on how to cover the upcoming wedding.

She smiled instantly when she saw Lisa's somewhat frustrated yet adorable expression, and she felt this urge to just barge towards their table and kiss her right then and there.

"You're crazy."

Jennie turned back to Chaeyoung only to find the latter glaring at her.

"What?" She asked as flatly as she could, but her smiling eyes just gave away the emotion she's been shamelessly displaying ever since she woke up in Lisa's arms this morning.

"She's crazier though," she heard Chaeyoung say, "if I were her, I wouldn't take you back."

"She is."
