Jimin's POV
It was a great day to go out for a hunt in the forest. Busan had strangely fallen quiet these days. It was a satisfactory silence throughout and I would like to cherish it rather than expecting wars.
I breathed in the fresh air while having a nice time looking around the pretty view through my room's balcony. The moment felt eternal till I was snapped out of my euphoric thoughts with the sudden knock on the door.
"Come in." I calmly ordered to which soon the door creaked open revealing one of the royal guards. "Good morning prince." He bowed and stood there waiting for my response.
"Who wants to meet me today? Is it my father or perhaps my mother?" I teasingly questioned. It was a regular thing for either of them or sometimes both to want to meet me.
"The king wants you to visit him." I nodded my head to his words and soon he was out of my room leaving it quiet yet again. I sighed and walked inside . Taking a glance at the mirror while setting my clothes I stepped outside my room , making my way to meet my father.
Once I reached my destination, I knocked twice on the door. A humm could be heard from the other side which made me push the door open and step inside.
Either it was the aura or my father himself which made me tense up each time I would meet him. He could be harsh but loving as well. Yet the serious gaze of his would always make me think twice before meeting him.
"Father , did you call me ?" I mildly questioned while standing right in front of where the king was seated. He nodded his head and patted the empty side of the bed beside him. I quickly occupied the space while my gaze seriously took notice of his reaction. He was calm.
"The month of Chuseok passed by and there was barely any celebration." He let out, his stares were stuck outside the window into the blue sky.
I hummed in response, patiently waiting for him to start with the main purpose. " I would like you to take a stroll around the city. Point out if there is any lack of agriculture or trade and let me know. " There it came.
Honestly it was a matter of hardwork to walk around the city and collect information when it was the month when the Sun would rise above the horizon. The blazing rays were my enemies and thinking about welcoming them again was already making me feel to give up. Yet as it was the King's order , I would have to obey him.
" I will begin with it , from tomorrow onwards." I stood up speaking and faced my father. " Why not from today?" His reaction less glares made me gulp before I replied with the reason behind. " I wanted to go hunting today...." My words trailed off as my gaze fell down , fingers tangling one over the other.
My father gave out a breathy chuckle which did take me by surprise. It was very rare to watch him do so until he was in an extremely good mood. "Go for it." He patted my shoulders while smiling. I gave him an equally glad smile back before taking a leave .
