Chapter 2-Dad?

Stefan's p.o.v

I'm currently in the hospital, getting the bullet out. I never expected to see her again, never thought I would say her name, see her again, hear about her or anything.

"You will be good to go in a couple of hours" the doctor said

"Ok" I replied

How did she find me? How did all of this happen?

"Who was that woman?" Aria asked furiously

"Why did she call you Stefan?" She asked without letting me explain

"Why did she shoot you?" She asked loudly

"Can I explain" I said

"Go ahead" she replied

"My name isn't Matthew, it's Stefan and I faked my death in order to protect my family. That woman was my wife and the reason why she shot me was because she wanted me to feel the pain she went through" I said

"Why did you fake your death?" She asked

"To protect my family, I was a powerful man when I lived back in New York and my previous life. I had enemies and in order to protect my family I had to fake my death. They were being targeted and I didn't want them to get hurt." I said

"Is my son and I targeted?" She asked

"No, everyone thinks I'm dead" I replied

"So what are you gonna do now?" She asked

"I need to see her. I need to explain why I did everything" I said

"What about us?" She questioned

"I don't know, I don't know anything right now" I replied

"Figure out before you end up hurting more people" she said.

"I need to get a flight out" I said

"Book it yourself" she replied walking out. I grabbed my phone and booked a flight. Luckily I still had some money of my own for when I had money deposited for a while.

Once the doctor cleared me I went to the airport, using my fake I.D and flying out.

I needed to see Stassie and make it up and explain

stassie's p.o.v

"Dads alive?" Elijah questioned walking in.

"Elijah, what are you doing?" I asked

"Is dad alive?" He asked

"No, uncle Matthew was talking nonsense" I replied

"Liar, I heard everything" he said

"Shit" I mumbled

"Elijah, sit down" I said to him. He entered the office more, sitting on the couch as I shut the door.

"Elijah what I will say to you will change everything but you have to promise to not tell anyone" I said

"It's true" he replied

"Sadly it is, your father is alive" I said

"What, how?" He questioned

"I don't know but he's been living with another family on an island. He has a new life without us" I said

"But he wouldn't do that" Elijah said

"I guess he could" I replied

"Did he love us?" He asked
