Chapter 28-Unexpected Guest

I was dumbfounded looking at the girl in front of me.

Gabrielle andrea Valentino is in front of me. How did she find me?

"Is your dad here?" I questioned looking around the area to see it was empty

"No, he's still in Los angeles" she stated. How did she get here?

"Give me a second" I said closing the door and looking at it.

What the fuck. Who is this girl and how did she find me and why?

I grabbed my phone and called Ryan

"Hello" he picked up

"Gabrielle andrea Valentino is at my front door" I stated in shock

"What?" He questioned

"She is at my door and I don't know why?" I exclaimed

"Are you sure it's her?" He asked

"I don't know, she says it is" I replied

"Let me send you a picture" he said as I start walking towards the door. I open the door and see the picture and compare it to her.

"It's her" I said

"Is Aidan there?" He asked

"I don't see him and she said no" I replied

"Well I don't know why she's here then. Why don't you ask her" Ryan stated

"Fine, I'll call you back" I hung up the phone and looked back at the girl

"How old are you?" I asked

"I'm 14" she replied

"And you're Aidan's daughter?" I questioned

"Yes... sadly" she mumbled the last part.

"Why are you here?" I questioned still standing by the door. I should let her in but she could be lying and Aidan could be here.

"Because my father doesn't talk about his sister and I wanted to find out more about you so I took a flight out here and found you. I know nothing about my aunts or uncles besides uncle Ace and a bit about uncle Jaden, Ryan and andrew. He hates talking about family and I'm tired of having to be associated with my mothers' family" she stated and being straightforward. I'm also assuming she doesn't know I'm the one that killed her mother

"You couldn't ask your uncle about me?" I questioned still not understanding why she wants to know me and why fly out here.

"I barely see uncle Jaden and uncle Ryan and with uncle Ace he doesn't talk much to me and it's hard to talk to him. If I bring up your name, I practically get yelled at for bringing it up or shunned because they don't want to talk about it." She replied

"You could have called them?" I questioned. It's not like I don't believe this girl, I know my brothers but I have to be cautious because my family is inside and they don't need to get hurt.

"Yeah cause both of my uncles who I rarely talk to will tell me about my aunt who disappeared. No one talks about you in the family, it's a touchy subject, for god sake my mothers death is more talked about than your disappearance" she exclaimed with frustration

"Hold on, I need to make another call" I stepped away from the door and called Ryan again.

"When was the last time you talked to Gabrielle?" I asked

"I don't know, a while?" He questioned

"And Jaden?" I questioned

"The same" he replied
