2 weeks later

Ella has been getting better, she has had 3 nightmares in the past 2 week but has been more talkative. We've went out multiple times and she's slowly getting more comfortable which is what we want.

Today was Ella's last at home appointment with Dr. Williams and at her next one she will be back at the office. My office was being occupied and I was in the kitchen figuring out the next deal.

"Anastasia" Dr. Williams called out

"Yeah" I shouted back. She appeared in the kitchen, Ella wasn't with her

"Ella is done with her appointment but I want to talk to you" she said

"Ok" I closed my computer, pushing it away from me

"In your office" she pushed herself off the counter. I followed her towards my office. We walked in and she sat on the couch while I pulled up the chair.

"How have you been?" She asked

"Fine, been working" I answered nodding my head

"Is Tyler still alive?" She asked

"Nope, last night was his last night" I replied

"Do you feel at ease?" She asked

"Yeah, I guess" I shrugged

"Have you been sleeping?" She asked

"Yeah" I lied, I haven't been sleeping. I haven't gotten much sleep maybe 2-3 hours.

"Lies" she nonchalantly said

"How do you know?" I questioned

"I've been seeing you since you were 20, I can tell when you lie" she said

"Fine, I haven't slept much" I sighed

"When was the last time you got a full 8 hours?" She asked as I let out a laugh

"Before having kids" I said

"Fine, how about at least 5-6" she questioned

"3 weeks ago" I mumbled

"Anastasia, this is not healthy." She said

"How can I? My kid was kidnapped and I couldn't stop her. I have nightmares hearing my daughter screams, seeing her crying and the fear in her face: I can't keep seeing that every night I go to bed" I exclaimed. I threw my hands in the air out of frustration

"But he's dead, you killed him" she replied

"Yeah but I still get the nightmares" I said covering my face. Dr. Williams talked to me and we talked this out. She's prescribing me sleeping medication to help me sleep.

"You need sleep, and I need you to lower your stress level. Your stress levels are high and it can lead to you having a heart attack or a stroke. Have you checked your blood pressure recently?" She asked

"No" I replied

"I need you to check it asap, I'll be back next week and if you haven't gotten a check up then I won't see Ella" she said

"Don't bring ella into this" I replied

"Your health is very important, no one wants to lose you" she said pointing at me

"Fine I'll get it done" I groaned

"Good, I'll see you soon and take those meds. They should be ready soon" she got up and grabbing her bag

"Thank you" I said getting up. I walked her out and then went back to the kitchen to grab my laptop and back into my office where I practically live now.
