Chapter 6

I wake up and smile at the memories of yesterday's events. I sit up and Sam is there.

"How are you feeling?

"Better not as tired."

"Good"

"Sam I have something for you."

He turns his attention fixed on me.

"What is it?"

"I promised you one of my feathers. "

"Thank you. We found a case we are leaving in the morning."

"Ok, Sam I think i will need more than this if you want my help."

He tosses me a credit card and a phone.

"Take Cas ok?"

"Ok"

I reveal my wings.

"Cas meet me in town you can find me at a store."

I fly to town I'm a matter of seconds and stop outside a boutique that has some business like attire. I go on and find my sizes. The door opens and Cas walks in. He stalks over to me with concern in his eyes.

"What is it?"

"Sam wouldn't let me leave unless I had you with me so here we go."

He grabs my chin and for a moment I swear he wanted to kiss me but instead he says:

"Ok Cassie I will help you choose your attire."

"Thanks Cas."

I walk out of the dressing room in a white button down, a black knee length skirt ,heels, and a black blazer.

"You look suitable."

I laugh at the unattended pun and change back into my clothes. We then walk to a thrift shop and pick up some daily outfits.

"Cas thank you for today's even though you probably had more important things to deal with than me."

"I will always be here for you Cassandra"

"Cas i need one thing.... angel blades."

He smiles and opens the door as we leave the impala sitting out front. Dean and Sam are sitting there waiting for me to walk out.

"Really Sam you tracked me by the phone? "

"Sorry but we have to go now."

I nod climbing into the impala and waiting until we got on the highway and the sky had darkened completely to start to change. Dean looks in the rear view mirror and grins telling Sam not to look back while i change. Cas whom had read my mind left.

"Ok guys it's safe."

They grin and i ask..." Where are we headed? "

"Ohio there have been weird murders at some of the sororities and so you will be bait."

"Ok wake me when you need me to drive."

------------Hours later -------------

Sam wakes me slightly shaking me.

"Do you mind? Dean won't wake up and if I drive any longer I will be putting us all in more danger."

"Nah just one minute. I need to stretch."

I get out of the car and walk around for a second before jumping in the drivers seat. When Sam wakes up we are pulling into a motel.

"How long have you been driving? "

"Four five hours why?"

"You need to get some sleep."

"I'm fine Sam i feel as if i had just woke up."

"Cass..." He looks at me admitting defeat. He goes to wake Dean but i stop him.

"i got this," i think of a fresh pie as it materializes in in my hands.

Dean stirs at the smell.

"Morning princess."

"Where are we?"

"Ohio, not far from the University. "

"Damn."

"I need to change before we can go and sign me up for college."

I walk into our room and grab a pair of jeans, a t-shirt,and my jacket. I start to get undressed but Sam walks in.

"Oh Cassie I'm sorry i didn't mean to..."

"One minute let me get in the shower and you can do what you need to."

I get in the shower but before i turn in the water i yell out: "Ok Sam!"

I hear the door open and I can see his shadow walk in.

"Sam it's ok really you are like a brother to me and hey your not family until you save their ass or you are embarassed. "

I hear a small chuckle escape him. I can barely hear Cas' wings flapping in the other room followed by Dean's husky voice. I block out the real world and reminiscent on my old life and the simplicity of it all. I hear a knock on the door awaking me from daydreams.

"Hurry up Cassie."

I walk out after getting dressed.

"Let's go."
