RISHABH'S POV

I groaned hearing the ringtone of my phone . Can't a men sleep peacefully I thought and woke up to see who is calling me this early ....yawning I check the phone to see Raj jiju calling me

PHONE CONVERSATION BETWEEN RISHABH AND RAJ

RISHABH = "Hello Gm jiju"

RAJ = "Gm sale sahab and wake up now its already 7:30 apko and kriti bhabhi ko 8:30 tak tayar hoke niche ana hai (you and kriti bhabhi had to come down till 8:30)"

RISHABH = "Hmm....."

RAJ = "Rishabh make sure you both or atleast Kriti bhabhi is ready till 8:30 otherwise all your relatives will start their drama and this time even I won't be able to help you brother"

RISHABH = "Oh God!!!! we will be there jiju don't worry "

RAJ = "Good ....see you down."

RISHABH = "JI and jiju thank you "

I turned to see kriti sleeping peacefully holding my left hand between her cheek and pillow and smiling in her sleep. Leaning on my right forearm I kissed her forehead and moved my right hand in her hairs "kriti wake up sweetheart " I called her

"Bas 5 min aur (5 more minutes please)" she replied with closed eyes .

I smiled at my kumbhkaran "just 5 minutes more kriti" I said trying to be stern

"Pakka promise " she replied and then how can anyone let not her sleep I thought and went to get ready .

When I came after bath it's was already 8 and here this girl was still sleeping "kriti bas abhi uth jao (kriti come on get up its already late) " I said pulling her duvet.

"What yaar Rishu sone bhi nahi dete (you don't even let me sleep)" she complained pouting

"Baby we are not at home just few days once we shift to our home you can sleep all you want but now go and get ready we need to go down till 8:30"  I said

"Khadoos" she said showing me tongue and went to get ready . I sigh she is really a baby in morning itna to bache bhi pareshan nahi karte I thought

AFTER SOME TIME

"Kriti come on yaar its 8:45 we are late get ready soon " I said. knowing my relatives I know someone will say something to kriti if we will go late and I don't want her to get sad on her first day

"Comeon yaar Mr.Lawyer we are newly married couple that too just a day old no one will say anything " she said making me groaned only if she knew

"See how am I looking ?" She said coming from closet

I looked at her from up to down and down to up she was wearing saree with all the traditional jewelleries and even had covered her head with veil. I went towards her and removed her veil from her head "you are looking beautiful and you don't need to take this veil I will tell everyone don't worry " I said

Cupping my face she said, "You are doing so much for me ...making sure I am happy so cannot I do this much for you .....this relatives will go in a  day or two and after that even we will shift in our house so it's not like I am going to take it forever ....if I will take it here in front of your relatives , your parents will get happy and if they are happy you will be happy and I can do this much for you " 

"Only if you are comfortable " I said and kissed her forehead

"Waise you were ready to fight for my veil and were scared of us reaching 15 minutes late " she asked laughing

"Not funny baby you didn't meet my uncle ....he is Hitler typical disciple, traditions,  culture and all that thing" I said when  my phone rang again " wait it's Raj jiju" I said and answered the call

"Yes jiju...yes we are coming " I said and held Kriti's hand "come and don't worry I am there with you "  I said

AT BREAKFAST

KRITI'S POV

All this things are so strange for me like all gents were sitting and ladies were serving them ...even I was making plate for Rishabh ....I mean I don't have any problem with making plate for Rishabh but in my house we all always eat together even when there is some gathering we don't eat according to our gender ....everyone was talking and I was really feeling out of place .....

"Kriti you both have to reach your house till 11 am that is why Raj brought all this  snacks and sweets for breakfast but next time I want to taste food made by you "
Some one said I don't know who is she I guess she is someone from gauri didi in- laws family...I just smiled and nodded

"Chalo atleast now you are behaving like a new bride otherwise  yesterday all could hear you laughing with your husband. ....but what can we say time has changed when we got married that time everything was there shyness, fear " 
Rishabh's bhua said and my smile faded
Relax kriti you don't need to react to these useless people I thought and took deep breathes to calm myself when I heard Rishabh's voice  "Bhuaji you must have heard my voice too ....and I believe laughter is best medicine we all should laugh and laughing with your family is a good thing atleast better than creating unnecessary chaos"

"What do you mean?"  His bhua asked angrily

"Are bhuaji where is your plate gauri bring plate for bhuaji ..." Raj jiju said to calm the atmosphere

"Leave it damadji I am not hungry" the lady replied after eating two kachoris already how much more she want I thought

"Are aise kaise if you will not eat from my hand I will get angry ....you will have to eat atleast one samosa and this dhokla its famous here " Raj jiju said and Gauri didi and Raj jiju served everyone . I too helped them.

Even I am hungry won't this people ask me to eat I thought and forwarded a plate to Rishabh

"You and didi too come and joined us " Rishabh said

"Rishabh you eat we both will eat latter"
Gauri didi said making me shock I am hungry why can't I eat I thought

I saw Rishabh frowning he was about to protest and again they will start discussion .....Rishabh please don't say anything just eat so that I can eat you can fight for my rights once I get some food I prayed mentally and thankfully Raj jiju held Rishabh's hand to stop him

"Gauri they have to reach at right mauharat so here Ramprasad will serve us you both too have your breakfast " Raj jiju said and Gauri didi nodded and finally I am having my food .

Rishabh's family is a circus thankgod we both will leave separately I mean I could not survive half hour with them their thoughts, their behavior it is like we are still leaving in 90s and not 21 century . I don't think I could have adjusted in an environment like this were I am not equal I would have left all this and ran away but Rishabh is different he is trying his best to make sure my environment is nice for me so even I can adjust a day or two for him even if it means seeing all this circus
