RISHABH'S POV

"What's the first thing you gonna do when your bandages will be removed ?" Kriti asked me, playing with my shirt button unbuttoning and buttoning it repeatedly her head was resting on my abdomen as she cannot rest it on my chest due to my fractured ribs

"I want to feel our baby " I said in a heavy voice and with tears in my eyes . She kissed my chest and placed her head once again on my abdomen hugging my waist

"And after that ?" She asked again

"I will cuddle ayansh and pamper him" I answered thinking it was so long back I took my champ in my arms

Kriti sat cross legged in front of me . She smiled then pouted and asked again , "And after that ?"

"I am all yours after that my Jaan but have you not said just half an hour back that you have decided not to have sex ever again because it causes pregnancy which causes back pain and vomiting " I asked her with twinkling eyes and a smirk

"But now I need to have you ....." she whined but then she realised i was teasing her .

"You are teasing me ....." saying this she immediately started crying. . Seeing her even ayansh came near her and sat on her lap and started wailing .

"Kriti baby i am sorry don't cry please.....i am an idiot please " I pleaded panicking but she kept crying with ayansh

"Me and my baby are crying because of you" she said sniffing

"Jaan i promise we will do whatever you want ....please jaan I love you don't cry ....see ayansh is also crying" I tried explaining to her and when she realised her baby was crying she immediately stopped crying and hugged ayansh tight placing numerous kisses on his face she started pacifying Ayansh

I looked shocked at her .Was she not crying just a minute ago ? I do need to ask her gynaecologist is that normal? Are these the mood swings? I thought, gulping and staring at the mad mother son duo who were busy pampering each other

I cleared my throat to gain my attention she looked at me and smiled "Rishu tomorrow we are going to your doctor's ....your bandages will be removed ....should we call everyone tomorrow for dinner ? We can share the good news"

"How about tomorrow after doctors visit you and Ayansh goes to your dad 's house for the latter half of the day and informs them about our baby ...i will call rudra bhaisa here ...he will stay with me. I will inform him and Ajay here " I said , " Waise When is Priya bhabhisa coming back?"

"Her mother had to undergo an operation for ligament injury she will stay there for two more months then she will come back " she said "and now don't change the topic Rishu why don't you want to inform your family ?"

"Kriti Being a criminal lawyer i do have good observation skills. Do you really think that i am unaware that you are hiding something from me that concerns my family and Ayansh... "

"Rishabh......" Before she could say any lie i interrupted her , "Kriti I did sense the awkwardness the unsaid tension between you and masa ...do you really think i did not notice how whenever Ayansh is in same room with masa you don't let Ayansh out of your sight.....how masa never takes ayansh in her arms whenever she is here to meet me and before you could say i am overthinking let me remind you that masa comes here daily to meet me and i have observed same pattern every single day"

When she did not say anything I took deep breaths to calm myself and spoke in a softer voice , "Kriti I trust you I know you will tell me at the right time....i don't know what you are hiding and what are your reasons for not telling me ? But i do know that it is something serious but Till you don't tell me everything I am not comfortable sharing this news with my family . We will only inform Ajay , Meena Rudra bhaisa, Priya bhabhisa and your family till I know the complete truth"

"I won't leave you and go anywhere if you don't want to inform all then don't we can inform the ones you want to even on the phone or we can call them here " kriti spoke

"I don't think your parents would be comfortable with me ...they barely talk to me now ....i don't know how to win them back ....they would think baby is the reason that you are with me.and ....." I spoke about my insecurities not meeting her eyes .

she sat in front of me and cupping my face she looked in my eyes and spoke , "Then let them see how are you pampering me even in this condition and how happy we are once they see it they will be normal ...avoiding them won't take us anywhere we cannot avoid our family Rishabh" with emphasis on last line

"We are not talking about my family " i said sternly

"You cannot avoid them forever " her voice did not rise but even her voice was stern "our kids are blessed to have so many relatives and they will enjoy each of their relationships"

" Kriti I promise The moment you will tell me the truth I won't avoid them " i said to her sincerely but all she answered was her silence . She was avoiding my eyes and sat there silently with tears in her eyes

"Kriti your silence is speaking a lot .....tell me that is the truth so big that you are in fear the result will destroy my family ? Do you really think hiding truth will protect me ? Truth does come out one way or other" I tried explaining her

"Rishabh tomorrow call Ajay here in the afternoon and discuss with him how will you announce about ayansh ...i don't want to delay it more once your bandages are removed that is the first thing you are doing then at night I will call the people you want to inform we will inform them " kriti said and got up

"Kriti ....."

"Rishu please i will not lie because you already guessed a lot and i won't be able to lie to you nor I want to lie to you . I will tell you the truth don't worry just give me some time right now there is nothing to worry about . The situation is in my control .
Rishabh if one has to dive in Strom one should be well prepared the moment i am assured you are ready i will inform you for now just remember our kids are safe there is nothing to worry "

"What about your safety?" I asked worried

"You once called me lioness then belive in me just focus on getting well soon there is lot in front of us and i just need you with me " kriti said pecking my lips.
