Chapter 10

Few days later...

Hikori was jumping up and down with excitement and joy. It was his birthday and he had officially turned 4 years old. There were purple and yellow streamers hanging from the ceiling and matching balloons in the sitting room. One thing was for sure, Shinso had to make sure that Hikori didn't see his birthday cake, in which had a picture of Pikachu on it and he also had to make sure that, no matter how old he was, Denki didn't take a sneaky taste of the icing.

The doorbell rang and Hikori bolted towards it, Denki not far behind. The door opened and before him stood Eri, Kota, Mic, Aizawa and the Wild Wild Pussycats.

"Auntie Eri! Gwampa Zawa! Gwampa Mic! Wiwld Wiwld Kittycats!"

"Hey, Hikori!" Eri smiled as she lifted him up and gave him a big bear hug. "Happy birthday!"

"Did you get me a present?!"

"Did I get you a present...? Hmmm. Let me think... Yes. Yes, I think I did!"

"Hewo Gwampas!"

"Hey little listener!"

"Hello Hikori. Happy birthday buddy."

The group walked outside to where Shinso had disappeared to and placed the presents on the back table. There was a bouncy castle, streamers, balloons and a birthday banner hanging from the back deck. The adults stood around for a few minutes before they heard the sound of the back gate open. They had told their guests to come around through the back gate as the party was going to be outside.

Denki looked up and smiled as he saw who had arrived. Kirishima, Bakugo and their daughter as well as Tetsutetsu, Kendo and their son, Kaneki. Not long after, the extended Todoroki family came with Sero and Iida. The little ones ran off into the bouncy castle as the adults talked.

The Todoroki family consisted of; Deku, Shoto and Irei, Inko Midoriya, Rei, Natso, Fuyumi and Endeavour, as well as Dabi, Hawks, their 4-year-old son Hinote (due to turn 5 on the 20th June) and their 1-year-old daughter, Rekka.

Kaneki came as he was Eijitski's cousin. When the situation was explained to the family, Denki just shrugged. He didn't care. The same went with the fact that Hinote came with Irei. They didn't care. There weren't many people coming anyways, so it didn't matter.

About an hour later, it was time for Birthday cake. As the kids sat around the table and the adults stood behind them, they started to sing 'Happy Birthday' as Shinso walked out with the cake. Denki had his phone out and was filming the whole moment. The cake reveal and his son's reaction. When the cake was placed on the table and everyone clapped, Hikori blew out his candles, Hanna giving him a hug, while his other friends cheered. The cake was cut and everyone was given a piece.

After cake, it was time for the presents. Eri and Kota had gotten him an action figure of both of them and the Wild Wild Pussycats.

"Now I've got an action figure of my whole famawee! I just need one of my sewf!"

Everyone let out small laughs at the little boy's humour. He had defiantly gotten that from Denki, that's for sure.

The Kirishima/Bakugo family had gotten the little boy a Meowstic Pokémon plush. The Tetsutetsu/Kendo family got him some Pokémon themed clothes, while the Midoriya/Todoroki families got him a new black and yellow stripped ball.

Hikori loved all of them. He let out little squeals as each present was revealed.

As Denki and Shinso tucked Hikori into bed that night, the boy still had a wide grin on his face. He had his Pikachu, Cat and Meowstic plushies in bed with him. He snuggled further under the blankets. Denki placed a kiss on his son's head while Shinso smiled and said good night. The adults left the room after turning the light off and headed to bed themselves.

Little did they know that someone was watching them from behind the closed curtains.

Someone who would cause trouble for the family.

Someone who could kill them in the blink of an eye...
