Pete and I started doing the going-outside-to-talk-at-3am-thing everyday. Our talks ranged from music to comics.

"You play any instruments?" He asks.

"Yeah. I play the drums. I kinda sing a little too. What about you?"

"I do some bass playing here and there. I really want to start a band."

"Being in a band isn't really an option for me. My parents want me to go to med school."

Pete sighed. "Sing for me, Patrick."

"No, I'm not that good at singing."

"Please." Pete pouted.

"God, okay. Just don't make fun of me."

Pete put his head on my lap and closed his eyes.

I took a deep breath.
I started to sing Asleep by the Smiths.

Pete sat up and grabbed my face.

He gave me multiple pecks on my cheek.

"Patrick! You have an angel voice!"

I blushed.

"Thanks."

"Sing it to me again."

Later on the night I couldn't stop thinking about Pete kissing my cheek. I know it didn't mean anything. I'd do anything to feel his soft lips press against my cheek again. Since when did I develop a crush on him?

I guess talking to him everyday changed the way I felt about him.

When I made my way to the table, Lynz was sitting there. Gerard had his arm around her. Oh my god..

I tapped Mikey.

"Are they..?"

"Yep."

I smiled.

They we're finally a thing! And pretty damn cute.

Frank didn't say anything at all, he just seemed pretty upset.

Whenever Mikey mentioned Frank having a crush on Gerard, I figured it was a joke.

Guess not.

Suddenly two hands covered my eyes.

"Guess who?" Hayley said.

"Hi Hayley."

"How are you?"

Hayley was easily one of my closest friends. Every morning she checked up on me and I thought that was super sweet.

"I'm actually doing pretty good this morning. What about you?"

"I'm beyond happy!" She replied excitedly.

"Why?"

"I guess you can say I have a new crush." She gushed.

"Who?" I asked.

"Pete. And I think he likes me back!"

"Well, I'm extremely happy for you Hayley."

She pulled me in for a hug before going back to her usual table.

Wow, I better stop liking Pete right now. Hayley has way more of a chance than me.
