Now it was time for Tyler to tell us who we'd be sharing a room with and where our room would be.
I waited quietly for him to call my name and the other person who'd I'd share a room with's name.
It seemed like everyone else was talking to each other and i just looked like a loner. Someone tapped my shoulder.
I looked behind me to see Josh standing there with a smile on his face, his purple hair was nearly glowing.
"You alright?" He asked me.
I nodded.
"Hmm, I think you should go talk to them." He pointing at three boys.

Mikey, Frank, and Gerard, I think their names were.

I didn't respond.

"You wanna make friends don't you?"

"I guess so."

I got up and walked over to them.

"Hi, can i sit over here with you guys? I'm tired of looking like a loner." I said.

"Of course you can, uhh.." Gerard said trying to think of my name.

"Patrick." I said.

-

Talking to them was actually nice.
We had a short conversation until I heard Tyler call my name.
"See you guys later." I said, grabbing my bags and making my way to Tyler.

"Hello Patrick.." He looked down at his clipboard. "You share a room with Pete." He looked back up at me giving a small smile and handing me a paper.

I guess the paper was my schedule.

I flashed a fake smile back.

"Where is it?" I asked.

"3rd floor, room 306."

"Thanks."

-

"Wow i'm surprised you actually took the stairs."

I looked behind me. Of course it was Pete.

I continued to walk up the stairs.

"What is that supposed to mean?" I grumbled.

"You're fat. Wouldn't you rather take the elevator?"

This was a camp that was supposed to help me get better. I don't think that can happen with him around.

I walked up the stairs faster to get away from him.

-

Some how he was in the room before me.
The room wasn't much. It had 1 TV, 2 beds on both sides of the room , 2 desks, an alarm clock and a couple of drawers.

He muttered something about having to share a room with a fat ass.
That's when i decided that I won't say anything to him.

I just dropped my bags and walked out our room.

I headed downstairs and the first councilor I saw was Debby.

"Is everything okay?" She asked.

"Can you please let me call my mom?"

"I'm not usually not supposed to do this but I'll make an exception for you."

She handed me her phone.
"I'll be right back." She said.

I dialed my mom's number as fast as I could.

"Hello?"

"Mom, I don't think I can do this."

"Is this Patrick?"

"Yes."

"I know, it's hard. Try your best. You'll get better, I promise. Make some friends. You won't be there for long."

I though about what she said.

This is just temporary. Anyway, I think I can be friends with Gerard + the others.

"Alright." I said.

"Love you."

"Love you too."

I hung up.

Debby came back just in time. I handed her her phone.

"Thank you."

"No problem. Alright now, go back to your room before Tyler sees you."

I nodded and made my way back upstairs.
