LAST CHAPTER WAS HORRIBLE! I HATED IT! I'm so sorry I wrote such a bad chapter! This one will be better, I hope. Lauren's outfit is at http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=70444522
I pulled the sweater over my head, and looked at myself in the mirror. I grinned. I was going over to Vic's, and I wanted to look perfect.
We hadn't seen each other in two fucking years, and that is WAY to long in our opinion. We were used to the longest time being apart was when one of us had to go to the bathroom.
So we planned to spend the whole day together, and then finish by going to the Marianas concert tonight. I was so excited.
I skipped down the stairs and nearly ran into Josh, but he put his arm around me and we spun around.
"Where are you going?" he asked.
"Vic's house! Remember? I told you last night I was spending the day with him because we hadn't seen each other in so long." I said. He pouted.
"I haven't seen you in a year and I never got to spend the whole day with you, alone." he pouted. I smiled.
"Okay, how about tomorrow then?" I asked. He smiled and nodded.
I slipped on my UGG's and ran to the door.
"BYE!!!" I shouted. "MATT I HAVE YOUR KEYS!"
I ran outside and picked which one of Matt's cars I wanted. I decided to just take his truck.
Josh's P.O.V.
"Warning to all Vancouver citizens, a major thunder and lightning is coming your way. Power outages are expected, and we encourage nobody to be out on the road, because the visibility is going to be very low." I heard on the TV.
"Wait, what did they just say?" I asked, going into the living room.
Matt shrugged. "Major thunder storm. Nobody should be out driving, power outage expected." Mike said, while typing on his phone.
"Isn't Lauren still terrified of thunder storms?" I asked.
THAT got their attention. "Where's she going?" Ian asked.
"She told me she's spending the day with Vic because they hadn't seen each other in so long." I said.
"Oh, then don't worry. Vic knows she scared on thunder storms. She'll be fine." Matt said.
The guys went on to play their game of poker, and I took a blue Jolly Rancher as I went upstairs. Lauren made me gain a habit of that.
She only liked the blue and green ones because she said that's how she got her eyes to change, and she said she never wanted my eyes to change color so she only let me eat the blue ones.
It was a habit now. I went to my room and bit my lip as I signed on to Skype. I was relieved to see Lauren was still online. She never logged off, just because if someone needed to talk to her then she was still on.
Soon enough, she came up on my screen.
"Hi Josh! What did you want?" she asked. It looked like she was playing a video game. Either that or watching Vic play a video game.
"I just wanted to tell you that we just heard a major thunder storm was coming and they didn't want anyone on the roads because it'll be hard to see stuff." I said.
She paled. "A thunder storm?" she repeated. I forced a smile.
"Hey, you'll be fine. Vic's there, and if you want we can just Skype throughout the storm." I said.
