So I guess I'll make it for there is the same amount of chapters in this story as there was in the first part :) So that means 5 more chapters (including this one!) guys!!! Anyway, I think I'll try my hardest to make this a little romantic. With me, *sighs* whoooooo knowwwwwws?
After the party settled down, and a few people left, we went up to the cabin. Well... It was more of a lodge.
Vic, Kellin, Jack, Alex, Nicole, Matt, Mike, Ian and then me and Josh were all going to stay there the night. Once my parents figured that out, they pulled an 'Over-Protective Matt' card, as I like to call it.
"Wait, you're all going to stay here? Unsupervised?" my mom asked. I nodded.
"Nicole's here. She'll suprovise us." I told her. Everyone else agreed, and Nicole quietly laughed.
I liked when Nicole was around when mom said we'd be unsupervised, because Nicole was the oldest.
Mom looked at Nicole. "Swear you'll make sure they don't pull anything?" she asked.
Nicole smiled and nodded. "Nobody will do anything that I know of." Nicole said. At this point we were all holding in laughter.
For god sakes Kellin looked like he was about to bust a lung. Mom bit her lip. "Okay, I guess you're all adults. Go do whatever." she said.
They both left, and we cheered. Just as the sun set, and it began to get dark out, we decided to go down on the small beach and have a bonfire.
The cabin only had like, two flashlights, so we were kinda stumbling around in the dark. It was fun.
"Josh! Can I get some light over here?" I asked. He was using the flashlight on his phone.
"Sure." he grunted, probably walking into something. The light wasn't really that bright.
I picked up a few sticks, and once we all had come back (minus Jack and Alex) we had a pile big enough to last a good few hours.
Across the lake were a few lights, and it looked like they were having a bonfire. We heard some rusling, and I saw a flashlight.
When it lights and rusling got closer, I realized it was Jack and Alex. "Guys! We got some wood!" Jack called.
We all put our lights on them. I let out a laugh. Jack and Alex were both dragging a huge dead tree that had been at the top of the beach for basically forever.
Sand was matted into it's branches, and the branches were close-nit. It would burn big, bright, and it would burn for a long time.
"Okay guys, we'll put that one on last." I chuckled. They set it down and pouted.
"Aww. That would've been so cool..." Alex whined. I smiled.
"Save the best for laugh, right?" I asked. His face lit up.
"Oh yeah!" he said. I laughed and we all sat on the logs and rocks surrounding the fire pit.
It was cold so we had brought some blankets, and I cuddled into Josh. After about twenty minutes of watching Matt try to be the tough guy and start the fire, Alex, Jack and I groaned.
"Let us do it!" we all said. Kellin and Vic inched back.
"They were known for setting fires in the science lab. You might want to stand back. This'll get hot." Vic said. Everyone slowly stepped back and we laughed.
Okay, piece of advice, if you want to light a good fire, stack it in X's, and bring a lighter. It was pretty hot at first, then it died down.
I cuddled back into Josh. Kellin ran up to the cabin to get marshmallows and cookies and chocolate. We were basically having a normal campfire.
