"Lex," a voice said. I opened my eyes and it was cold. "Lex, come on, wake up," JJ whispered. I looked at him and he sighed. "Are you alright? You passed out and I couldn't wake you," he said. I nodded. "How long was I asleep?" I asked. He shrugged. "I don't know," he said. I looked around and Rafe and Barry were nowhere to be seen. "What about Rafe and Barry?" I asked. "They haven't been here in hours," he said. I nodded. "JJ, I'm really scared." I said quietly. "I know, I know you are. But by now, John B has figured out we're missing and they are looking for us." he said. I forced a smile. "JJ, they'll be looking for you. There isn't anybody to look for me." I said. "That's not true. John B, Pope, Kiara, Sarah, your parents," he said. "My parents are in China and the pogues are your friends, I don't think they like me because of how mean I was to them with Rafe." I said. He chuckled. "They love you. Trust me," he said. Then we heard them.
The front door opened and Rafe and Barry walked in. "Well, well, well, if it isn't the happy couple," Barry said. "Did you miss me, Lexi?" Rafe asked. I didn't say anything. Rafe walked over and grabbed my chin and forced me to face him. "I fucking asked you a question!" he snapped. "Please, Rafe. Let us go." I pleaded. "Oh we are going," he said. "What?" I said. "You've proven that you can't be trusted on this island. You can't be trusted with him." Rafe said. "What does that mean?" I asked. "After I kill JJ, we need to lay low for a while. We are going to the Bahamas until it's fine to come back." he said. My heart stopped. He was going to kill JJ. He was going to kill him. "You're fucking insane!" JJ snapped. Barry punched him again. "Stop!" I yelled. I looked at Rafe. "Rafe, please. Listen to me. You can't kill him. Ok? I'll go with you, I'll do whatever you want. I will never leave you again. Just- please- please don't kill him." I begged. Rafe was quiet. "No, Lex. You aren't going with him." JJ said. I ignored it. "Please Rafe. Please, I promise. I'll do anything. I'll do anything for you. Just don't hurt him, please." I begged. "You're still begging for his life as you pledge your loyalty to me." he spat. "If you kill him, you'll go to jail. Then we can't be together. Please, just don't kill him and I'll never see him again. It'll be like he doesn't exist." I said. Just as I said that, I looked at JJ. He looked so hurt. But I knew that I had to hurt him, to keep him alive. "JJ," I said. He looked at me. "I don't love you. I never did. I only dated you because I knew it would make Rafe angry." I said. His eyes filled with tears. "You're lying. I don't believe you." he said. I shrugged. "I know you pogues are dumber than most- but I'm not lying." I snapped. Barry laughed. JJ's face dropped and tears fell to his cheeks. My eyes filled with tears and I looked away. "Can we go now, Rafe?" I asked. He chuckled. "You know what, babe? We can." he said. He untied me and I stood up. "Go get changed," he said, handing me a bag. I went to the bathroom and changed. When I was there, I found a piece of paper, and wrote a note to JJ. It had the name of Rafe's boat on it and the word SOS.

When I came out, they were standing there and JJ was looking down. "Are you going to let him go?" I asked. "I guess." Barry said. "I got it," I said. I walked over and knelt down to untie him. He looked at me and I looked away. When I reached over to untie his hands, I slid a note I had written on a scrap of paper I found in the bathroom into his pocket. He stood up, wincing and clutching his ribs. "Please don't do this, Lex." he pleaded. "I really had you in my pocket, didn't I?" I said, giving him a look at the word pocket. He gave me a look of confusion. I nodded towards his pocket. "Let's go, Rafe," I said, holding his hand. I smiled at him and we left.
JJ MAYBANK
"Don't bother going to the cops, you know the Camerons have them hooked." Barry said. I scoffed and left too. I went straight to John B's and ran inside. "John B!" I yelled. "JJ!" Kiara said. She ran in and hugged me. The Pope did and then John B. "What happened to you?" Pope asked. "Rafe and Barry kidnapped us." I said. "Where's Lexi?" Kiara asked. "She went with him. He's trying to take her out of the country." I said. "What?" they all exclaimed. "She had to, he was going to kill me if she didn't." I said. I showed them the note she slipped in my pocket. "That's Rafe's boat, I delivered groceries to it once," Pope said. "Call the cops on the way," John B said and we got in the twinkie. "Hurry," I said. We have to get there, I can't lose her.
