My residency continued as usual. During our off duties I went to club with Louise, Lance and even with Dom sometimes. Nakakasama na rin namin si Kassandra and she's okay, someone I will surely approve for my best friend. But, it was a shocker when Lance wanted us to go to Dubai so we can meet his best friend which apparently his girlfriend, too.

We enjoyed Dubai, nainis nga lang si Chester kasi umalis ako ng text lang yung paalam, biglaan lang din kasi. Though, parang one week before sinabihan na ako ni Louisse, hindi ko lang inexpect na matutuloy pala.

Monique was so nice during the whole trip. Kaya pala minsan 'pag sinasabihan namin ni Lance na 'wag mafafall sa amin ni Louisse tinatawanan nya kami, ang gago ang ganda pala ng girlfriend nya.

"How's your trip?" Chester asked. Kahapon pa ako nakauwi pero nagdiretso ako ng duty.

I smiled. "Galit ka pa din?"

He didn't even respond, he just continued cooking. I went to hug him tight, his breathing was heavy. Ang daling suyuin.

"Take a bath first, then let's eat," he murmured.

I pouted and looked at him. Sometimes I hate that he's so tall, 6'2 sya samantalang 5'6 lang ako.

"Bati muna tayo." Pagpapacute na sabi ko.

"Mag-kaaway ba tayo?"

I tip-toed to kiss him. "You're mad."

"Well, for starter you left me with just a goodbye text. And we're supposed to go to Bacolod. I told you, didn't I?"

"We have to meet Monique nga," pagdadahilan ko.

"Who's Monique?"

"Lance's fiancee?"

He furrowed his brow. "I thought he's waiting for you or Louisse."

"Ganun ba ako kaganda sa paningin mo at lahat talaga magkakagusto sa akin?" Natatawang sabi ko.

"Ikaw lang naman maganda sa paningin ko." Seryosong sabi nya.

It was my time to smile and grin. "You're so whipped, baby."

"Yeah. Dangerously whipped."

"Ano pala dapat gagawin natin sa Bacolod?" Tanong ko nung kumakain na kami. Even his cooking felt and taste like home.

"Pinapasama tayo nila mommy sa caravan," sagot nya. "Andito na sila sa Manila, magdinner daw tayo bukas. Meron yung ibang mga pinsan ko."

"May duty ako bukas." Mahinang sagot ko.

"Nasabi ko na kay Ethan na gawan ng paraan," panimula nya. "Mag-morning duty na lang tayo."

"Anong meron sa dinner?"

Tinignan nya ako sandali. "Birthday ni daddy. Hindi tayo unaattend ng 4 years, baka naman pwede na tayong pumunta ngayon."

"So you mean dahil hindi ako pumupunta, hindi ka rin tumutuloy?"

"Busy rin naman ako. I always go a day after. I just sent our gift." He answered.

We went to that birthday dinner.  I even rushed to buy tito a gift, akala ko kasi next week pa.

"Hi, ate." Gab uttered with a smile.

I was astounded, bakit nandito sya. I think Gino noticed it.
