Ilang oras ang nakalipas ay natapos na si Dad sa meeting niya with our Financial Head. Maganda naman daw ang monthly record namin this month, tumaas ang sales namin than the previous month which is a good thing, ang mahalaga ay na co-control namin ang mga losses.

Dumaretso na kami sa basement kung nasaan ang factory. We are greeted by our Cellar workers, mukhang mababait din naman ang mga trabahador namin dito. Ang iba ay mahigit dekada ng nagtatrabaho dito samin, may mga nag retiro na nga at yung iba naman ay ayaw pa dahil ito nalang daw ang trabahong mapagkikitaan nila.

The factory is big, very big to be exact. Mga one to two hectares ang laki nito sa pagkakaalam ko, nakalagay dito ang iba't ibang equipments na ginagamit namin after the process of fermentation sa mga wines. Ang fermentation warehouse namin ay nakalocate din sa may vineyard sa Batangas, the wines is already fermented bago iship dito sa factory sa Manila. Duon ginagawa ang process of crushing, fining which is necessary for our white wines, cold soak is if it goes with the process of crushing, Innoculation na isa sa pinaka importanteng proseso na ginagawa bago iferment ang mga wine. After its been fermented, it will proceed to the Racking process kung saan nakalagay na sa mga individual tanks ang fermented wine at may tubing ito sa ilalim kung saan lalabas ang wine. Some wines ay kailangan pa ng secondary fermentation which is specific for red wines only, white wines can be optional to undergo with this procedure.

Bago isalin sa mga bote ang wines ay ififilter muna nila  ito to make sure that all the little microorganisms found in wine that pertain to fermentation. If the wine is not separated from them, a small fermentation could occur in the bottle which result in exploding corks or capsules and of course a big mess.

After all that process ay ipapaship na ang bote boteng truck ng wines dito sa factory sa Manila for the finishing touches. Dito nilalagyan ng labelling ang mga bottles ng wine and the corking gamit ang mga machines na nakalagay dito.

Dito narin syempre dino-double check kung may damages ba sa bottles or hindi plakado ang labelling, and dapat secured ang pagkakalagay ng corks to avoid na mag leak ito while shipping or kapag naka display ito sa mga branches namin sa marketplaces.

Marami rami talaga ang proseso bago namin ma perfect ang kalidad na gusto namin para sa wines. But its all worth it, maraming tao ang nagugustuhan ang lasa at kalidad ng wines namin. Dahil rin sa masisipag naming empleyado, we are able to achieve the main goal of the business, which is the consistent increase of our sales every year.

"Siya nga pala Dad, nabanggit sakin ng Tasting Room Manager natin na bibisita daw dito yung anak ng owner of company partner natin for our equipments? For maintenance and cleaning din daw po," I suddenly remembered kaya clinarify ko narin kay Dad since magkausap naman na kami.

"Oh yes, like you ang anak niya narin ang nag ha-handle ng company nila. Actually recently lang ang naging partnership namin, we decided to upgrade our machines para mas mapabilis ang process ng labelling and corking sa mga wines. They also provide our bottles, more on equipments and supplies kasi ang pino-provide ng company nila," Dad clarified at tumango naman ako. Its good na sa iisang company namin nakukuha ang equipments and supplies namin para hindi rin hassle na bukod pa ang kinakausap namin for supplies at equipments.

"That's great. What's the name of the company?" Tanong ko.

"Colleymore Trading Company, there one of the most trusted trading company in the Philippines and also in the whole Asia. It is an honor for our company to partner up with such a big company like them. Do you agree anak?" Dad said at nanlaki ang mata ko sa narinig ko.

Colleymore Trading Company?

Shit! Its Nolan's families company!? Bakit kompanya pa nila!? Pwede namang iba diba!? And I'm freaking meeting up with him tomorrow!?
