Ilang araw na ang nakalipas since the day Nolan confronted me that he knows the whole truth behind my reasons of breaking up with him. Hindi niya parin sinabi kung paano niya nalaman but he's right, hindi naman na importante yon but now that he knows the truth, I don't know if I would be glad or not. Hindi parin maalis sa utak ko ang mga sinabi niya sakin before he kissed me. Was he serious about that? Bakit pa? His getting married so why bother persuing me again?

"Ms. Zole ayos lang po ba kayo? Mukhang malalim ang iniisip niyo mula noong pinuntahan kayo ni sir Nolan sa bahay ninyo" Pagtatanong ni Valentina kaya I just shrugged my shoulders and heavily sighed.

"Ayos lang ako Valentina, actually... could you help me hire a private investigator? May ipapa imbestigahan kasi ako" I said na mukhang ikinagulat niya. One of the things that Nolan reminded me is to be careful towards Alexie, I wonder why he said that but I'm sure it's not just because of his jealousy towards him.

"S..Sige po Ma'am hahanap ako agad" Yoon na lamang ang sinagot niya at lumabas na ng aking opisina. Speaking of, Alexie immediately entered the moment Valentina left. He has a bright smile plastered on his face, lubos na ko nagsususpetsa kung totoo ba talaga ang mga pinapakita niya sakin o sadyang pagpapanggap lang ang lahat ng ito.

He came near me and gave me a peck on my lips.

"Hmm, what's with the bothered face? Are you stressed out? Maybe I could help," He asked at kaagad naman ako simpleng ngumiti sakanya at umiling. Ayokong pagdudahan niya rin ang mga kinikilos ko sakanya. Part of me is wishing that Nolan is wrong but hanggat wala pa kaming matibay na ebidensya ay pananatilihin kong maayos ang relasyon naming dalawa.

"I'm okay Alexie, marami lang kami inaasikaso since it's already holiday season, we need to release new holiday collections at syempre giveaways sa mga loyal investors at suppliers" I explained at binaling na lang ang aking sarili sa screen ng laptop ko.

"Oh okay you're right, kahit kami busy na sa mga ibang businesses namin because of the upcoming holidays, anyways it's our first Christmas together right? You want to go out of the country to celebrate?" Pag aalok niya at napaisip naman ako. Hindi naman nga masama but we may leave before or after Christmas because I want to spend the holidays with my family.

"We could, I'll check my schedule kung kailan ako free. My schedule may be cramped because of the meetings I needed to attend to for the preparation of our holiday collection, but susubukan kong mag leave ng ilang days" I assured him and he smiled at me and hugged me from behind. Nagulat naman ako ng bigla ulit bumukas ang pinto revealing Nolan from it kaya agad nanlaki ang mata ko at mabuti kumalas naman sa pagkakayakap sakin si Alexie. His stares at me is cold and serious na parang nararamdaman ko ang iritasyon sa nadatnan niya.

"N..Nolan, bakit ka napadaan dito?" I casually asked kahit ramdam na ramdam ko ang tensyon na nandito silang dalawa sa opisina ko ngayon!

"We need to talk about the machines in your factory, kailangang magdagdag ng mga bagong makina and we need to remove the old machines, nakailang repair na kasi yung iba unfortunately it can't function anymore" Aniya kaya napatango na lamang ako at tinignan si Alexie.

"Alexie can we talk later? May importante kaming pag uusapan ni Nolan" Pagpapaalam ko and he just smiled at me and nodded.

"Sure no problem, I'll see you later then" He replied and peck my lips again na agad kinakaba ko. Shit sa harap pa talaga ni Nolan!? Naglakad na siya palapit sa pinto kung saan malapit din si Nolan, tinapik niya ang braso nito.

"Good to see you again Mr. Colleymore, I hope we could discuss work matters next time with my girlfriend so I could spend more time with her" Aniya kaya napatikhim ako. Bakit kailangan niya pa sabihin yon? Nolan just nodded towards him, keeping his cold stare at hindi manlang nagawang ngitian si Alexie.
