Unwanted Soulmate || Jungkook x Reader

HER

I promised myself I wouldn't fall for no boy, Jungkook is not an exception.

Yet, seeing her before him my heart dropped. I walked back and went straight to the bathroom, it can't be possible. Three people with a red string is impossible something has to be wrong. I hear a knock on the door.

"Y/n? Come out it's me Ally."

I unlock the door and pull her inside the door closing the door, "Ally what happens when three people are connected by a red string?"

She was silent for a moment before saying, "Well, to tell you the truth I've never seen it, but I've heard stories, only one pair can happen so normally what I assume that happens to the other person is that they find someone else?"

That doesn't sound right. I'll just ask my sister. Maybe running away was the wrong idea now he probably thinks I want nothing to do with it.

"Y/n" I hear a voice that brings me back to reality.

"Are you okay?"

"I think I am done for."

"What's wrong?"

"Outside. There is a girl, she and Jungkook are connected by a red string."

"No....but you and him. What!"

She pulls me into a hug and whispers into my ear, "I'll be here for you no matter what. You can count on me."

Suddenly, I couldn't hold it in anymore my tears started pouring out, "I don't know I thought I made my decision today but the world is against me and really hit me with a boulder saying in all caps NO!"

"Honey it's okay he clearly is in love with you there is nothing to worry about and if anything we just show her how powerful our y/n is." Ally tries her best to cheer me up but all I can do is worry we finally leave the bathroom and go back outside just to see Jungkook and the girl still talking.

I clutch on to Ally's arm she grabs my hand with her hand and smiles, "It'll be fine."

Suddenly Jungkook spots me and smiles waving me over, "Should I go?"

"Yeah you have to act like it hasn't affected you."

I nod and let go as I go walk up to them. "Hey..."

"Y/n meet Julia. Julia meet y/n."

"Hey it's nice to meet you," was all I could muster, damn why do i sound so intimidated.

"Hi y/n! It's so nice to meet you!"

It was awkward and I felt the need to just leave but of course Jungkook beats me to it, "Well Julia it was so nice to meet you but y/n and I have to go.

"Oh yeah it's fine don't worry about it, um but can I have your number so you know we can talk about this." She points to their red string.

"Um..yeah sure." He gives her his number and then taps my shoulder signaling our departure. I quickly take out my phone and text Ally, "I'm leaving with Jungkook get the girls number."

"Right on ;)"

"Y/n" Jungkook calls for me as I jog over to where he was.

I want to ask him so many questions but they do not come out. All i can do is stay in silence.

"Silence doesn't suit you. I know what happened surprised you but do not let it think that i love you any less."

Words like that Jungkook confuse me. She was gorgeous amazing and stunning even if you did end up liking her instead of me I wouldn't blame you. Now we have to say that  out loud.

"Okay"

Great.

"Come on y/n tell me what you're thinking."

"What will happen to us now?"

He stayed silent as we came to a red light.

"Well i was thinking us and-"

"Stop!"

He laughed and I couldn't help but chuckle as well. At least he's taking it lightly.

"But in all seriousness y/n why do you worry about it affecting us. I love you and I want you to be my girlfriend officially."

"Jungkook I just don't know now there's another person into our equation what is that supposed to mean. Are we destined to not be together then? Are you going to have to choose between one of us? What happens to the person not chosen? Right now is not the place to ask me whether to be your girlfriend or not."

He held my hand and planted a kiss, " I understand and I've waited this long for you to say i love you and I won't let go of it anymore. I am here for you till the end."

I'm dragging him for a long run and I love him so much to do that to him.

We arrive to his place and as I walk in my sister is at the door way she embraces me and whispers in my ear, "Ally told me everything we have to talk."

We walk up to the room she is staying in and closes the door, "It's time we have a serious talk."

I shake my head, "We already talked about this I know what happened to you and why you're hiding. That's not going to happen to me."

"Are you sure about that now that there is another person in the story. Listen to what I have to say first."

I sit down at her bedside ready to listen finally to what had actually happened, "When I met my soulmate i was like you; I didn't accept him on the contrary i wanted nothing to do with him. He would come looking for me and I would turn him away. Until one day he stopped coming to see me. All I could think is that he finally got over me. But suddenly my red string disappeared it was cut in half. I started getting frantic until it showed in the news; a boy had disappeared and his family was looking for him until he was found...not here anymore. I regretted not accepting him as my soulmate. Even worse I regret knowing I may have been the cause of where he is today. Jungkook loves you.  Don't miss the opportunity because you want to focus on your career. You're still a child it's okay to take your time." 

"I don't have a chance to be with my soulmate anymore but you do."

I couldn't help but tear up. Knowing everything she had gone through. The idea of losing someone. Someone who you get used to seeing its terrifying. I don't want to lose him. Yet she came and now I'm losing everything.
