S.H.I.E.L.D. officers escort Loki down the hall, the God of Mischief in handcuffs and smiling.

Amora examines the scepter with Banner before the two look up to see the officers passing by the lab with Loki, who was eyeing them as he passed by, smiling. Bruce rubs his head once the god is out of sight, Amora's eyes flashing with a ring of green before disappearing.

Loki, now free from his cuffs, is contained in a large glass cell held by hydraulic rigs that was originally going to be used for Banner.

Fury walks over to the control panel, "In case it's unclear, you try to escape, you so much as scratch that glass..." he types on the panel, which opens a hatch underneath the cell, Loki peering from his cell to take a look as the sound of gusting wind could be heard, "30,000 feet straight down in a steel trap. You get how that works?" Fury types again, closing the hatch before gesturing to Loki, "Ant." he then gestures to the control panel, "Boot."

Loki chuckles in amusement, smirking, "It's an impressive cage. Not built, I think, for me."

"Built for something a lot stronger than you."

"Oh, I've heard." Loki looks into a camera in the room, the others in the briefing room watching him, "A mindless beast. Makes play he's still a man." Natasha looks up at Banner when the God of Mischief says that, "How desperate are you, that you call on such lost creatures to defend you?"

"How desperate am I? You threaten my world with war. You steal a force you can't hope to control. You talk about peace, and you kill cause it's fun. You have made me very desperate. You might not be glad that you did."

"Ooh. It burns you to have come so close. To have the Tesseract, to have power, unlimited power. And for what?" Loki smiles, "A warm light for all mankind to share. And then to be reminded what real power is."

Fury smiles slightly before leaving, "Well, let me know if "real power" wants a magazine or something."

Loki looks back at the camera, Steve watching until the monitor goes black.

"He really grows on you, doesn't he?" Bruce asks.

"Loki's gonna drag this out. So..." Steve looks over at the two Asgardians, "Dr.Green, Thor, what's his play?"

Amora sits in silence, not wanting to speak.

Thor spoke for her, putting a hand on her shoulder, "He has an army called the Chitauri. They're not of Asgard, nor any world known. He means to lead them against your people. They will win him the Earth, in return, I suspect, for the Tesseract."

"An army? From outer space?" Steve asks seriously.

"So, he's building another portal." Bruce concludes, "That's what he needs Erik Selvig for."

"Selvig?" Thor asks.

"He's an astrophysicist." Bruce explains.

"He's a friend."

"Selvig was helping with the Tesseract." Amora explains to him.

"Loki has him under some kind of spell, along with one of ours." Natasha adds.

"I wanna know why Loki let us take him." Steve says, "He's not leading an army from here."

"I don't think we should be focusing on Loki. That guy's brain is a bag full of cats. You could smell crazy on him." Bruce comments.

"Have care how you speak." Thor told him, "Loki is beyond reason, but he is of Asgard and he is my brother and Amora's closest friend."

"He killed 80 people in two days." Natasha told them.
