We're doing mosaics in art, but since I'm a "more experienced" student, I get to make not only a mirror, but this Lynx here. I sent in a sketch of it, and some other people cut a huge slab of wood out of it. Seriously, it's like the size of a Great Dane. (about five feet long, three feet tall) This will be displayed at our local library. I first cut out all the pieces, then I later them down, then I put them on contact paper, then I moved them aside, then I added synergy, (sort of like the stuff they put on the outside of houses) and then, I lasted the tiles back down. All while standing up, because I can't work that big while sitting.
I've worked five hours on it. And I'm only this far.
Yeah.
I stayed after school to work on it, and I was cleaning up and getting ready to go. Then I accidentally dropped the bowl of synergy, and it got all over the carpet. I spent at least half an hour trying to scrub it out with paper towels. I think I did a pretty good job of cleaning, if I say so myself.
