SHAWN AXCEL'S POV

"Subukan mo nga ulit, promise last na. I'm not sure about its taste. Can you find it out?" I gave her a cute puppy eyes but she just rolled her eyes on me.

Damn, she's making me nervous.

She let out a deep sigh, nodding."At last, you did something commendable.

I smiled widely because of her complement. This time, I could say that the fate is on me. Marunong na akong magluto kahit na papa'no. Next time, I'll learn more so that I could invite her to eat again...with my own way of cooking.

"Salamat naman, kinabahan ako do'n ah. If ever that it doesn't taste good, I probably don't know what to do. Sit there, I'll serve you a food." I wiped my hands and get a tissue to place in the table.

She immediately looked away as if looking around so I continued preparing the foods. We only have three dishes for our dinner. Grilled Steak with Roasted Aparagus, Chicken & Veggie Teriyaki Stir-Fry, and Sloppy Joe Casserole. She helped me prepare the ingredients needed and I cooked it by myself.

Ako pa! Fast learner kay ako!

"Wait!

She gave me a weird look like she's asking me what are we going to do with this."What do you think am I doing? Papakainin mo ba ako o hindi? I can go back to my---"

"No! No...I mean, we'll have to pray first. Hindi tayo pwedeng kumain nang hindi nagdadasal. I'm used to it," I said in a monotone voice.

"P-Pray? I already told you earlier! I don't do praying." She put down her utensils and sighed deeply.

Tumango na lang ako."Okay, I don't want to argue with you. Just do a sign of cross and that's it. Kahit 'yon lang bago tayo kumain. Sige na."

I didn't know how did I make her agree with it but I'm glad that she followed what I said. Well, there's nothing wrong with it. Katria told me that it's bad when talking in front of the food. Lalayo raw ang blessings. Grabe!

"Does your older brother cheated once?

He's the type of guy who's cold and serious. He doesn't entertain girls before ever since his first love left him. T-Teka...bakit mo ba natanong? Ako 'tong kasama mo tapos iba pala ang nasa isip mo?"

"Oh, bakit galit ka? Tinatanong ko lang naman," she said casually as if she doesn't care.

Do you really like me or that was just a prank? Kase ako hindi ako nagbibiro."

"What if I say that it's just a prank? What will you do?" seryosong sagot niya sa'kin.

I gasped and dramatically held my chest."Ang sakit mong magsalita, ah. Bawiin mo 'yong sinabi mo."

"Ayoko. I said it so I mean it. Hindi ko na babawiin 'yon." She rolled her eyes on me after wiping the side of her lips.

Damn. That lips. I want to taste it again.
