Chapter 21

****Olivia's POV****

I rode in the ambulance with Carisi while Nick and Elliot followed us to the hospital.
the EMT had administrated an oxygen mask on him and was hooking him up to monitors.

Cuts on his stomach, a black eye and more than like a broken Nose, and concerned of his leg and I was scared and all the internal issues we may not be able to see.

Since he lost consciousness and hadn't regained it since. I held his hand.

His heart monitor flat lined and the EMT yelled

"I need to shock him!"

I let go of Carisi's hand and she yelled
"Clear!!" and shocked him

She watched the monitor and it was still flat lined

"Clear!!" She yelled again and shocked him

"Come on Carisi!!"
I yelled

We watched the monitor and it went back into rhythm and Sonny opened his eyes

"What, what happened?" He slurred out trying to take his oxygen mask off

"Leave that on for me please."
The EMT put his hand back down

"You left us for a minute Carisi." I said as I grabbed his hand

He sorta grinned and then closed his eyes

****Amanda's POV****

It's 9:00 pm and Still haven't heard anything from Olivia or anyone.

Finn and I brought Nina to his place Since everyone went home for the evening at the precinct, the plan for her is to go to Nick's but it must have been serious for us to not hear anything yet.

"So do you like my crib Lil homie?" Finn asked Nina

"Crib?" Nina said confused

"It's my term for place." Finn laughed

Nina smiled

"There's that smile." Finn said

"So have either one of you heard anything regarding my dad?" Nina asked

Finn and I looked At each other

"No we haven't, Hunny."
I said

I felt my phone buzzing and looked to see it was Olivia calling

"Hello?" I said

"Amanda, where are you all at?" Olivia asked

"We're at Finn's, how is everything what happened?!" I asked

My heart was racing not knowing what may come out of her mouth

"Sonny is in a medical induced coma. They rushed him back since he flatlined once on the ambulance and then when they got him back .  He's got a broken nose, broken leg, fractured ribs, black eye, and a severe concussion. They put him in the medical induced coma so that the swelling can go down on his Brain."
Olivia choked when she finished

"Oh my god." I said

I looked at Nina and she was talking with Finn and he was showing her his different watches and stuff, thinking how the hell do we tell this little girl that her dads in a medical induced coma

"You know it's even sadder is that she was going to be recognized by the state legally that she belonged to Sonny on Monday, and that's off the table now until he recovers. Im hoping CPS isn't going to start a riot with her staying with Nick on top of all this. I'm scared Rollins."
Olivia said

"I know, I know." I put my hand to my face

"Listen I'm on my way with Elliot and Nick, we need to tell Nina." Olivia said

"Ok, we'll be here." I said and we hung up

"Who was that?" Nina stopped what she was doing with Finn and looked at me

"Sweetie Olivia, Elliot, and Nick are in their way over to see us. We're going to talk."
I said to her trying not to cry

"You're sad, and something's wrong." She said

She ran over to me and she hugged me

I kneeled down in-front of her and put my hands on the sides of her face

"It's going to be ok."
I smiled tears falling down my face

****Nina's POV****

There was knocks at the door and Finn answered it

Olivia, Nick, and Elliot walked in

"Nina." Nick said

"Uncle Nick." I said running up to him and he picked me up

"Is my dad ok?!" I said feeling myself nose start to burn like I was going to cry

"Olivia, Elliot, and I are going to talk to you about that." Nick said

"Why don't we all have a seat here"
Olivia gestured for us to sit at Finn's dinning table

Nick put me down and we all sat down

"Nina, this isn't going to be easy but we need to discuss with you the condition of your dad." Olivia said

"He's dead isn't he?" I said

"Nina your dad is in a medical induced coma. he flatlined once on the ambulance and then when they got him to work on him  At the hospital. "What about Travis and his friend?!" I said

"His friend was already dead when we arrived, and Travis is dead now too." Nick said

"So I assume my hearing for my legal adoption by my dad is off." I said feeling disappointment go through my whole body

"Unfortunately yes sweetie, until your dad recovers. You'll be able to stay with Nick like planned." Olivia said

"It's going to be ok Princess." Nick looked at me

"Can I please see my dad?" I asked

"Maybe, I don't know when." Olivia said taking a deep breath

"We just don't want you to be triggered or anything." Nick said

"I'm just worried about my dad." I said
