Chapter 26

****Nina's POV****

"I'm sure the police are looking for us Noah."
I said

"They're looking for you I'm sure, but not me."
Noah said

"I know they are looking for you too." I said

"Do you wanna go to Phoenix with me or do you wanna stay here?" He asked

"Noah please don't go."
I said

"I have no one Nina, no one."
He said

I took a deep breath

"You have me, you pretty much saved both of our lives last night." I said

Noah smiled

He stood up from the ground and I followed

"Let's go see if we can find something to eat."
Noah said

"Ok."
I said

I have no idea what the hell either one of us are doing, but I'm sure we'll figure it out..

It was a nice day and we was walking. We was in an area I'm not familiar with, I'm not sure if Noah was familiar either.
I was missing everyone at the precinct, my dad, and having my own bed.

****Noah's POV****

I really like Nina, she's a cool girl. We've both been through hell, and I can't let her go to Phoenix with me she Has people here, and I need to do this and make one decision at least for myself without getting someone else in trouble.

We was walking a ways and honestly I didn't even know where we was. I sorta started feeling desperate myself.

"Nina let's go into this gas station." I said to her

"Ok." She said

We walked in and there was no one in there and the cashier was just playing on his phone

"Noah do you have any money?" Nina asked

"No." I said

"Well how are we supposed to get food?"
She asked

I took a deep breath

"Nina, I can't take you to Phoenix with me. You got people here, and I don't. You need to stay here." I told her

She looked like she was about to cry

"Noah don't do this." She said

"Here-take these." Noah said as he handed me a bag of chips and took a bag of for himself

He went to the fridge and grabbed us both a can of coke, and then a pack of m&m's

"Can you run fast?" Noah said

"What?!" I said

"If you wanna come to Phoenix you have to be able to run out of here fast, because we're taking all this."
Noah said

"Oh shit." I said

"1-2-3" Noah counted and we took off

"HEY YOU NEED TO PAY FOR THOSE!" The cashier yelled

We ran and ran carrying our snacks and drink, and we ran for awhile finally we got to a park and went by the creek to eat our food

****Nick's POV****

"I think we just got a hit, cashier from a gas station called and said he believed he seen Nina with a young boy, they ran out of the store with snacks, and didn't pay. He's sending over surveillance footage now."
