Chapter 33

****Nick's POV****

"What's going on here?" Alex asked

"We're just trying to figure out who gave Nina these pills and she's not been awake or with it enough to talk."
I said

Alex frowned but looked suspicious

"Alex." Sonny said

"Nina needs to rest, just let her rest."
Alex said

Sonny and I both looked at one another

"My daughter is laying here after OD'ing on Xanax not once but twice now. How am I suppose to sit here and just let her rest, something is going on."
Sonny said

"When Nina is up with it more, we will talk to her." Alex said

"Ok." I said

"Let me know if you need anything."
Alex said and walked out of the room

"Something is up with that guy." Sonny said

"There definitely is, I'm going to call Liv and have her do some digging on stuff."
I said and walked out into the hallway

((Saturday))
****Nina's POV****

I slowly started coming to it again, and I could see better now, I looked at the clock

Saturday-9:30 am

I looked around the room and didn't see Nick or Sonny, they must have left sometime. I can't believe I've been out of it since yesterday, everything was slowly coming back to me

I looked down and my arms was still strapped to the bed I tried to move my arms and couldn't but maybe an inch Up.

I heard someone knock at the door

"Hey Nina." Alex said

"Hey." I said looking down

"How are you feeling today?"
He asked coming over and checking my vitals

"More with it." I said

"Good."
He said

"So can you please release me from these things?"
I said motioning for my wrists

"Yeah, You're actually getting discharged here in about an hour and I'm Going to take you to your dad's house. Your uncle Nick said he wasn't going to be able to get you until later so I offered to bring you home since my shift ends at 10:30"
Alex said

"Oh, ok."
I said thinking it was weird but tried to roll with it

"Your dad and Nick brought these clothes for you.."
he put a bag of clothes on my bed and released my wrists I rubbed them and sat up

I opened up the bag, I didn't recognize these clothes at all, thinking it was weird.

"Just get ready and I'll be back to get ya soon."
Alex said

"Ok."
I said

I got dressed and ready and I kept thinking it was weird that Alex was acting like this and bringing me home, and why my dad and Nick hasn't been here to see me.

I sat on the bed and then I got up and I went to open the door and it was locked, even looking around the room for a phone, nothing.

I laid on my bed and watched the clock and even looked at my wrist it was still wrapped up, and I looked at the restraints, blue soft cuffs-crazy how they do this to people.

I looked at the clock and seen it was 10:30

I heard the door unlock then open it was Alex, he wasn't even wearing the same clothes he had on earlier, he even looked nervous

"You ready to go?" Alex smiled

"Yeah." I said

He put his hand out and I grabbed it and he pulled me against his body and we walked slowly but fast down the hallway, and went down stairs, where no one was, instead of the elevator.

Alex took me out to what I assumed was his car and he opened the back door and I got in.
He got in the driver seat

"Here Nina, here's a drink if you're thirsty."
He smiled

"It's Mountain Dew how did you know?" I smiled

"Good guess." He smiled

"So you're taking me to my dad's?"
I asked

"Yes, I just let him know we are on our way."
Alex smiled

I opened up the bottle and took a drink, it tasted funny but I took another drink, I began to feel sleepy

"I'm, going to lay down." I said

I laid down in the back seat and it went black

****Sonny's POV****

Nick had dropped me off at the door and Nick parked the car and met me at the door.
We began to make our way up to the floor Nina was on, I was anxious to see her. I hoped she was more with it today, we need to figure out what happened and what the next step is once she's able to get out off this Suicide attempt hold.

We made our way to her room and walked in startled to see Nina wasn't there, her hospital gown was there and Nick walked over and picked up the restraints she was in and looked at them

"Where's Nina?" Nick just looked at me

I was still in shock

Nick ran out of the room and he came back with a nurse

"Alex said she was getting discharged today, he said that Nick called and asked for him to bring her home when he got off." The nurse said

"Hold on a minute..."
I was cut off when Nick spoke up

"We did not consent for her to leave with Alex."
Nick yelled

"Let's check the footage."
The nurse said

Nick followed behind the nurse and I followed behind them and she went behind the nurses station and turned the security footage screen around and backed it up to 10:30

We watched and then seen Alex had Nina up against him walking fast down the hallway

"I don't even recognize those clothes Nina was wearing."
I said

"I'll call hospital security." The nurse said

I was still in shock just unsure of what to say or even think at this point

"I'm going to call Liv and have her put out an amber alert and explain what's going on."
Nick said

I made my way to a chair and dropped my crutches on the ground, I sad in it and put my face in my hands and began to cry.

****Nina's POV****

I slowly began to open my eyes and realized i wasn't home, I looked around this room it looked like a bed room I rubbed my eyes and sat up on this bed I was on.

My heart stopped it felt like and I looked around, I am in deep deep shit.

I heard the door open and Alex came in

I backed up against the bed afraid, nervous.

"Where am I?" I was shaking

"Hey it's ok Nina". Alex smiled putting his hands up

Alex sat at the end of the bed

"I want to go home to my dad."
I said crying

"I can't let you go home yet Nina..."
Alex said

"Why?" I said Crying even more

"Derrick is my son, he's the one that gave you the pills, and I even said it was ok that he gives them to you. If anyone finds out, I could loose my license and even face time in prison. I can't have that."
Alex said Rubbing my foot

"I promise I won't tell." I said hysterical

"Give it sometime." Alex said
