Chapter 41

****Nina's POV****

We was back at the house celebrating today. Barba, Olivia, Finn, Elliot, Amanda, uncle Nick, and even Cragen came over.

We had cake and ice cream and even the adults was having wine.
Sonny put the stereo on and was putting music through the speakers.

"Heres some sparkling grape-juice for you princess." Nick said pouring me some in a wine glass

"Here's to Sonny and Nina Carisi, and a new life."
Olivia said

We all made a toast and took a drink of our drinks

Sonny pulled me into him and rubbed my back and I returned the favor

Sonny let go of me and took some more drinks of his wine, you could tell he was getting tipsy. But it was funny at the same time seeing my dad have fun.

I was getting a piece of cake

"Hey Nina."
Barba said

"Hey Barba, thanks for everything." I said

"Not a problem, it's what we are here for."
He said

"Sonny told me eventually I'll go to trial up against Alex and Liam with his friend."
I said

"Yeah, you will. But not for awhile. But we will prepare you for everything.
Barba said

"I'm glad we won a case." I said

"We will win these trials too."
Barba said

I began to feel nauseated again

"Hang on I'll be right back".
I said

I took off heading towards the bathroom and Began to throw up again.

Once I finally got done I got cleaned up and I began to walk out the door and ran into Olivia

"Hey you ok Nina?"
She asked

"Yeah, I just have been throwing up off and on since yesterday. Probably a bug."
I said

Olivia's face looked concerned

"What's wrong?" I asked

"Nothing, I am just so glad you are officially apart of the Carisi family."
She said Hugging me

"Thanks Olivia."
I hugged her back

****Sonny's POV****

"This has been so much fun."
I said to Finn taking another drink of wine

"Yes, congratulations Carisi. So happy for you and lil homie."
Finn smiled

"Hey guys." Amanda smiled coming up to us

"Hey."
I said stumbling

"Woah there Sonny, think you need to slow down a-little?"
Amanda laughed

"No it's ok."
I smiled

I put my arm around Amanda

"Does Lil homie know you are dating?"
Finn asked

"No, not yet."
Amanda said

I just burst out laughing

"Ok Sonny I think that's enough".
Amanda said taking my wine glass

****Nina's POV****

The party was great and everyone had went home except Amanda and Olivia.

Sonny was in the bathroom puking and Amanda was helping him.

I came out of my bedroom after changing out of my dress and went into the living room and I sat on the couch watching tv

"Hey Nina."
Olivia said coming and sitting next to me

"Hey."
I smiled

"Did you have fun today?" She asked

"Yes."
I smiled

"I think my dad did too."
I added smiling, hearing him cough from the bathroom

I felt nauseated again

"Hang on, I'm sorry."
I said jumping up puking in the kitchen trash can

Once I was done I stood up and got some sprite out of the fridge

I went back to sit next to Olivia

"Nina can I ask you something? Girl to girl?" Olivia asked

"Yeah, sure."
I said

"Have you had your cycle lately?"
Olivia said

"Like my period?-no I actually haven't. I haven't had one since before Alex took off with me. I didn't have one while I was gone either in treatment, the doctor and nurses said that it could be because of the amount of stress I've had and medication."
I said

"Are you having any other weird symptoms?"
Olivia asked

"No, just sick."
I said

"Ok, well maybe it's side effects to medicine."
Olivia smiled

"Sonny is passed out in his Room, I think we can say he had a good time".
Amanda said

Olivia and I both laughed

"I think I should get going, but I'll see you tomorrow Rollins and I'm sure I'll see you soon Nina".
Olivia said standing up and headed out the door

Amanda came over and sat where Olivia was

"You can stay all night if you want, I'm sure my dad won't care."
I smiled

"I don't want to intrude or anything."
Amanda said

"You're not intruding, your family."
I smiled

"Well how about I put you to bed, I'll keep an eye on your dad."
Amanda said

"Ok."
I said

Amanda followed me to my room I raised up my shirt looking in the mirror my stomach was sorta hurting.

"My stomach is bloated."
I said

Amanda looked at me with a shocked look

"How long as it looked like that?"
She asked

"Not sure; maybe I ate too much."
I said

"Oh yeah."
Amanda said

I laid down on my bed and pulled the covers over me and she sat in a chair next to my bed
And I went to sleep
