Y/N's POV:

I was aiming my bow at a deer, I was about to release the arrow until I saw a fawn approaching it.

I put the arrow away and watched as they ran off.

Y/N: *sighs*

I wondered around the city looking for anything useful, food, spare parts, Huntsman weapons.

Tristan: <Y/N can you hear me?>

Y/N: go ahead Tristan.

Tristan: <you're gonna wanna hear this>

Radio: <*static* this is Beacon *static* we've received a distress call *static* can anyone respond over?>

Y/N: I hear you, Over.

Radio: <HeadMaster we've received *static* awaiting orders *static* ... Athena, how many survivors are in your AO? Over.>

Y/N: there are 70 in total, including me, over.

Radio: Roger that Athena *static* approaching initial drop zone in eta 8 hours, over.>

Y/N: negative, the Grimm act aggressive at night, over.

Radio: <Repeat, over *static* did you say Grimm? Over.>

Y/N: do not come to the city at night, I Repeat, do not enter the city!

Radio: <*interference* we are enroute, sending bullheads to evac civilians *static* team RWBY, JNPR, CFVY on standby *static* *interference*>

Y/N: What? *smacks radio* your breaking up, over.

Radio: <*Interference*>

Y/N: Dammit!

If only I had a scroll, I can talk to them directly.

Y/N: Tristan, do you Read me? Over.

Tristan: <I read you, Over.>

Y/N: I need you to activate all the UV Zones in 8 hours.>

Tristan: <you do know that could cause the power grid some issues right?>

Y/N: we have 3 teams of Huntsman heading here in 8 hours, they're not aware of the night's effects on the Grimm here.

Tristan: <...alright, this better work.>

*7 hours later*

The sun was going down, won't be long now.

*time skip*
Ruby's POV:

I noticed that Blake seemed uneasy, I feel concerned about her.

Ruby: hey, Blake are you ok?

Blake: I'm fine, don't worry about me.

Ruby: Blake...

Intercom: all teams, we're approaching the landing zone.
