Chapter 3: Singing with Nora!

(Your POV)

As you wake up you see that Joe left so you decide to go too. As you were walking to the cortex you notice pretty much everyone going in a different direction.

You: They're probably looking for ways to capture Gridlock, let's see if anyone's left in the cortex.

As you walk into the cortex Barry walks past you into the hallway.

You: "Hello there."
Nora: "General Kenobi!"
Iris: "What?"
You: "It's a joke between teens."
Iris: "Okay, me and Nora were just on our way to Jitters, wanna come along?"
You: "Sure, why not."

You then make your way to Jitters.

Iris: "Okay, latte for me, a Decaf Flash for Nora and a cappuccino for Y/N."
Nora: "Dad's lightning bolt is way cooler that Lightning Lad's."
You: "You got that right, I still don't like Lightning Lad though."
Nora: "Do you think dad's gonna be back soon?"
Iris: "Well you know your dad.
You: Except she doesn't.
Iris: "Whenever there's a problem, he's gotta run off and fix it."
Iris: "But you know, this gives us a chance to connect."
Nora: "You're not worried about messing things up like he is?"
Iris: "Well, I just wanna get to know you a little. How about this, I ask you two questions about your life, and if I'm right you blink twice? I mean blinking never broke the timeline right?"
You: "Aight bro bet."
Nora: "Okay, yeah I mean, if you really want to."
Iris: "Okay um, let's see, you are a reporter for a newspaper that you can only read on Instagram?"

You and Nora don't blink.

Iris: "Um okay, you... You are a cop."

You and Nora both blink twice.

Iris: "You're, uh, CSI?"

You and Nora both blink twice again.

Iris: "Just like Barry."
You: "I'mma go to the toilet real quick."
Nora: "Ok."

You then go to the shitter, nearly clog it, flush it, wash your hands, think about life and go back to your table.
You then see a note on the table by Nora saying:
Hey Y/N, it was getting really damn awkward so we just went to S.T.A.R. Labs. Hope you don't mind!

You: Well then, let's go to S.T.A.R. Labs.

You then speed over to S.T.A.R. Labs to see Nora already getting the Tachyon enhancer put on.

You: "Now I know why your nickname is XS. Can't go slow can you?"
Nora: *giggles* "No I can, you're just too slow."
You: "Bruh I'm literally a speedster."
Caitlin: "Alright the enhancers are done."
You: "Don't I get one?"
Caitlin: "No, we only have three, since you were last you don't get one and for some reason Nora really wanted to carry you."
You: Getting a feeling Nora's more of a dominant type.
You: "Aight."

Barry then walks in with his Tachyon enhancer.

Barry: "You sure you can keep up Y/N?"
You: "Yeah I'll see if I can activate both speed forces at once. That means no Nora you ain't carrying me."
Nora (a bit disappointed) : "Aww.... Well them guess this is goodbye, for you guys at least, me and Y/N will see you in 1 minute and 27 seconds."
Caitlin: "Get home safe you two."
Iris: "I'm sorry we didn't get to spend more time together."
Nora: "Oh its fine mom, we spend most of our lives together."

Nora then quickly hugs Barry.

Barry: "Okay."

Cisco opens the door, Nora and Barry activate their Tachyon enhancers and you can be seen changing speed forces real fast.

You: "This ain't working. Shit relies on emotions."
Nora: "Guess I have to carry you after all!"
You: "Yeah yeah don't get too worked up about it."
