"What do you mean? I sent her here Ivan" Rae complained at the fact that Aaliyah was not at the shack.
"Like I said she left" Ivan tells the man.
"We need to find her" Emma stressed and Ivan looked at the purple haired girl.
"Why?" He asks, and both Emma and Rae shared a look.
"It's time we take our revenge" Rae stood strongly and Ivan's demeanor changed instantly. "And I know you want her dead just as much as we do" Rae pointed out.
"I still don't want to get involved" he states and Rae sighs.
"Then we'll do it by ourselves. Just tell us where she went" Rae knits his eyebrows in slight anger.
"Alastors lab" Ivan said before grabbing the blinds "if your ever in trouble take this" he tosses a flare but instead of it being red it was blue. "Good luck" he brings the blinds down and Rae messes with the flare before putting it in his belt side pocket.
< Aaliyah's POV > I fidget with multiple guns before my eyes had landed on an all too familiar bat. I walk over slowly before grabbing it and lifting it off the ground.
"You still have Sebastian's bat?" I ask al and they humm while writing a few things down. I run my hands down the bat line until the end before sighing roughly and putting the bat down.
"Alastor" I say into the thick air and al looks up from their notebook.
"Yes?" They ask and I stiffen.
"Do you ever regret it?" I question and they furrow their eyebrows.
"What do you mean?" They laughed nervously and I shake my head, facing the walls with guns again and a small mirror in the middle. I stared back at my reflection, but I looked tired.
"Nothing" I reply, until a loud bang goes off.
"Alastor!" A shout goes off and instantly I grab a gun and run to alastor.
"Aaliyah hit the button. I'll be right back!" Al yells and I run slamming my hand on the button, blares filling the air as my ears began to ring.
Red lights flashed onto me and I felt the sudden realization hit.
I run back to the common room and start grabbing all my shit before I heard a click "Aaliyah" Raes voice was clear and I turn quickly knocking the gun out of their hand. "EMMA NOW!" Rae shouted and the purple hair girl ran outside of the base and outside..flare in hand.
"NO!" I shout in anger as I kick rae down while chasing after the girl. But by the time I reached her a smoke of blue filled the air, my hands shook as I stared in horror.
Who did they warn?
I look back at the girl my gun in hand. I raise my hand on the trigger but in that split second I was tackled to the ground my gun sliding on the ground.
"YOU BITCH!" Rae shouts while I struggle to get them off. And I grab their face prying them off with all the strength I had.
"Who did you warn!" I ask through gritted teeth and they just laugh.
"wouldn't you want to know!" He says while the purple hair girl grabs the gun.
Was this it? I did all this for nothing.
I close my eyes preparing for the pain but instead a gunshot goes off and I feel the grip on me get looser. In that quick second I open my eyes and I see the terror in Raes eyes as he stands quickly turning.
Alastor stood gun in hand and the purple hair girl laid on the ground still. I quickly move over to my gun and grab it before standing.
Now two guns were pointed towards Rae, "god so you really don't care for your own friends" Rae scoffs and I let my face fall into one of anger.
A sharp whistle goes off, with a few claps and I turn a person in a hoodie laughing.
The scenery had changed, the base was no longer there but everyone still remained. "What a great show!" The guy laughs and Rae looked confused.
I turn my gun to the hooded person and alastor keeps the gun on Rae. "Who are you?" I ask with a tilt of my head and the person grabs their hood sliding it down.
"Hello Aaliyah" he smirked."It's so nice to see you". In that moment I felt my world get dizzy before I flipped my gun pointing another direction.
"Ivan!" Rae said and I scrunch my nose up. Ivan looked between the two Raes and at my gun which was pointed directly at him. I slowly move my gun back to my Rae. They tensed up.
"Do it you won't" the other Rae teased and I press my finger slightly on the trigger.
"Obviously you don't know me that well." I say before facing my Rae. The Rae that was my friend all throughout high school, I see al turn their gun to Ivan.
"Do it" the other Rae mutters and I sigh before pulling the trigger.
Two bullets went off at that time. Raes body dropped and al stared horrified the gun pointing to where Ivan was.
"You took to long sweetheart" the other Rae laughed reloading their own gun. Before placing it on my head. "You'll kill them...or I'll kill you" he whispers in my ear and I look at alastor.
How could I not. I raise my gun pointing at al while their faced turned into one of betrayal, I wanted to live.
I would do anything to live. "I'm sorry" I sigh before pulling the trigger.
Anything for me to live...and only me. I am but selfish and I will admit it. I lower my gun, I will never allow anyone to stand in my way from success.
Even if I need to trade my friends lives for it. I am not the same person I was in junior year. I am no longer one with innocence. I stared intensely, and I never will be anymore.
