Sometimes I wish I died with everyone else. I wish I too would've been dragged in by the blue fog that set off in the sky and laid heavy on the battlefield like a corpse. It should've been me to have died, but now here I am by a dictators side, feeling like an item.

I feel used, but this will all be for the best no? Gathering the best of the best from each universe in order to create a new home for us. For all of us.

"Aaliyah" my voice is spoken and I turn facing Rae who was putting on his black coat. "It's time, I can feel it"

"Are you sure? They haven't even set off the bombs" I remind him but he gives me a quick stern look before sliding his mask on and signaling for me to do the same.

And so I do it. And we both slither our way into the crowded village the vibes buzzing with a small chirp. I peer behind me and I see a few people whispering.

"That's the blood god."

"No that isn't! Are you an idiot?"

I turn away and continue following Rae who stood tally amongst the crowd of overly dressed rich people. But one person caught my eye... and I began to feel dizzy, as she looked directly in the eyes of my mask.

"Ali focus" Rae says under his breathe and I turn away from the person.

I turn away from me.

Who was that person? They made me feel sick. But I shove away the feeling continuing in the opposite direction, I still had to find Derek after his whole freak out. I look around in a hurry before finally spotting him again "Derek" I say in a loud voice and he turns his dark hair moving with him.

The look he gave me at first was annoyance but then he saw it was me and seemed to have calmed down "Aaliyah, listen" he starts and put a hand on his neck nervously avoiding eye contact "I want to apologize for uhm..my outbreak?" He cringes at himself while rolling his eyes. "I shouldn't have gotten angry at you"

"It's okay" I give him a small smile while looking at his eyes "but I think we need to leave...this place is off" I tell him and he finally looks into my eyes before nodding.

"I agree, but where? Our town will be ruined in any minute" he asks and I furrow my eyebrows before remembering.

"We can go to the northern area, but it still might be to near" I nervously try to think of a place.

"Excuse me" a voice interrupts the two of us and we both look noticing a person with curly black hair and brown eyes. "I couldn't help but hear that your place will be..uhm ruined? What do you mean by that?" She asks with a curious look.

"Oh uh" I look to Derek and he nods. "We aren't from here if that's what you're worried about"

"Not from here? Then where are you from?" She asks us and I bite my lip.

"Uhm you know the uh holy trinity?" I ask her and her face lights up before it faltered.

"Oh..you" she points to Derek "your a king" she says and I make an expression. I had honestly forgotten that he was king, I look to him expecting a cocky expression but he just looked disappointed.

"Yes, I am" he says and she gives a look before clearing her throat.

"Sorry, um my name is Nancy..I've actually been following uhhh" she looks to me "you around..you both looked so familiar I needed to know"

"We look familiar to you?" I ask her and she nods.

"Me and family use to visit on occasion" she smiles "it was a lovely place you guys had"

"Thank you" both Derek and I say in sync and we give one another a look before a loud trumpet sounded. It shook the world practically as it hummed through the air, the sound bouncing off various buildings.

"Oh no..we need to get inside a building now" Nancy says in a rush and we follow her as we shove past other people that panicked. People desperately tried squishing into any home, leaving most places cramped and hard to breathe in. Mothers not wanting to leave their children argued with others that they were far more important. But when I looked around while running I didn't see any danger on ground.

"Nancy why are we running?" I ask her and she stops making us halt.My breathing was shaky when she turned.

"the sirens, are for a nuclear bomb"
