Why? Why did I get spotted in such a stupid way. Simply because I wanted a bread..I should've known better. But that's beyond my help, because here I stand now in front of a hut two guards near my side as another guard speaks in a hushed tone to people inside. Suddenly the sounds of chair moving catches my attention and quickly a figure strides out. It's a familiar face, it was alastor. My dear friend, but the once sweet face was one of anger.
"You dare step onto our land! You have no right being here" they stressed but Sebastian walks out and places a hand on their shoulder.
"Alastor, we've not had the chance to interrogate. And plus" he looks to me "she'll be useful in this meeting" he says before coming up to me "your father use to speak with the southerners yeah?"
"Yes he did, why? Are we in dispute with them again?" I ask concern laced in my voice and his eyebrows furrow while alastor grits their teeth.
"We've been threatened. They want to take our kingdoms down, with bombs" Alastor spoke aggressively as if it had been my fault. "And they won't come to any agreements unless we meet in person"
"So than meet them in person, if you don't want more deaths don't you think it would be smart to meet them? Or surrender. I have no advice for you when I am in shackles" I turn a bit showing that my hands were indeed in shackles. Sebastian gives quick glances to the guards but says nothing. "If your really scared of the southerners then enjoy your last living days" I answer simply and more figures come out. One of them being Derek.
I couldn't help but stare, the man who had ruined my whole existence in one whole night, to think we once were friends. How disgusting. "You found her that quickly?" A blonde girl speaks up and I look at her. I recognize her as princess Madisyn and next to her was prince Dylan, two people that my father had met once..or at least their parents.
"Surprisingly we caught her off guard, but now that I look at her. She doesn't match the description at all" a knight says eying me closely and Derek walks over.
"What do you mean?" Alastor asks trying to look over the knights shoulder.
"Her hair" Derek eyes me and steps closer brushing my hair lightly "it's not long, and she does not have a scar on her face" he backs away looking to the knight and Sebastian. "We've been tricked is what's happened. They've framed her to give themselves more time to escape. How dense could we be" he shrugs not really minding the fact that the blood god up and left.
"I don't see how that all matters right now" Sebastian sighs "back to the discussion of the southerns will we?"
"What's there to discuss? Your honor." I motion to the shackles and he grimaced before signaling for a guard to unlock me. And they do just that, the tension on my wrist was now light and I rub them before sighing "if you really don't want a war, or any bombs dropped I suggest a proper face to face meeting. It's how my father and yours have fixed many tensions in the past. Sending letters isn't helpful, it takes to long. The letter will only be half there before the bomb is dropped on us all"
"And who would we send? I can not go, I am the only person in charge of my kingdom, I am king" Sebastian notes and I eye both alastor and Derek. "You know that Alastor's dad wouldn't allow it, they can hardly fight" he says and Alastor's face turns into one of anger but they hold in any insults to the male.
"So what your suggesting is we send Derek?" I ask with a small scoff and he nods and I tense up "then consider us bombed" I frowned.
" a little faith would do me good. I know it's hard to believe Flores, but I don't plan on dying in the next few months. I actually want a life" he stares straight into my eyes and I stare back.
