As I'm walking down the streets of the place I very well use to call home I am seen with catastrophe, homes broken into and people giving me bad looks. "I thought the people loved you here?" Josiah asks whispering in my ear and I feel my heartbeat quicken in panic. "Aaliyah"
"Something's wrong. We need to leave" I choke back tears as I grab Josiah "we need to leave now!" I rush but I could see from Lauren's look that she had no intentions of leaving. "Please" I beg.
"We can't..I'm sorry Aaliyah. You've been helpful to us" Lauren walks over placing a comforting hand on my face but I step away. "But we need this" she looks at the people that readied swords. "You're the issue not us" she holds onto her family.
I am stricken with betrayal as I feel my face of sadness turn into one of rage "then to hell with you all! See how well you do without me!" I cried out pushing past them.
"Do you think I was to harsh?" Lauren asks us and Silas cowers away while her husband sighed.
"Yes, she's helped us many times. With food, shelter and even taught us to hunt. Yet we return the favor with abandonment? Don't you realize that she saw comfort in us?" Zion starts "she grew up to fast." He sighed as the surrounding people went back to their business.
"Maybe she just needed to calm down" I try to comfort all of them and Lauren sighs.
"Yeah maybe" she mentally argues with herself and we all walk together in the streets. Many houses looked to be raided, glass shattered and others arguing on trades. But if you looked up, you would see beautiful buildings. The three castles that remained, shined brilliantly in the sun.
