I woke up around 4 am . I glanced at my side but only saw an empty space. Where did he go?
Kinusot ko ang aking mga mata at sinubukang humakbang. I went to the sala. Tahimik ang buong paligid. Ang mga yapak lamang ng mga paa ko ang aking naririnig. No one was there .
It was peaceful but I know something's wrong. Kinakabahan man ay sinubukan kong hanapin siya.

Iwinaksi ko ang aking nasa isipan. I tried to remain calm. Maybe I'm just imagining things. Umakyat ulit ako sa taas upang hanapin siya.
Walang tao sa veranda at sa kuwarto niya. He was nowhere to be found.
Doon dinaga ang puso ko. Nawala na ang pagiging kalmado ko. Is it going to happen again?
I went back to my own room. Halo halong emosyon ang naramdaman ko.
Nanginginig ang kamay kong kinuha ang maliit na papel. It says, "I know you won't understand me, but someday, you will. "

Tears dampened in my cheeks as they fell against my skin.
It happened again.
He left me for no reason.

I didn't let him destroy me. I didn't let him take my heart away. I will never lose myself.
Totoo nga ang sinabi ko noon. He doesn't deserve love. Because he doesn't even know what love is.

Lawrence was convincing me over and over again to throw a party on my birthday. I don't have anything special on this day. It was just a normal day, for me.

I sighed. Right. I should at least relax and enjoy. I hope it will turn out well.

He smiled at my decision .
Lumapit siya sa desk ko with a smile plastered on his face. Napakunot ako ng noo.
He slowly took off his necklace and offered it to me.
My lips parted when I realized he's giving it to me.
"It's your mother's necklace! "
He smiled genuinely. "My mother told me to give this to someone I like. "
Gulat man ay hindi ko maiwasang mapangiti. My heart felt warmed.
Humakbang siya papunta sa likod ko at dahan dahang sinabit ang kwintas. It has a shining diamond.
"Thank you." My mood lightened up.
"You're welcome. Happy birthday. Enjoy your day, Cresia!" he said before he went out.
