I slowly wake up to the soft sound of beeping and a bright light.

I look around me to see I was in a small room alone, there was a large mirror in front of me, I knew it was a two way mirror. I slide down the blanket around me and groan in pain as I pull up the hospital gown to see my wound was bandaged up.

I couldn't be at a hospital...it didn't look like it. Plus a man grabbed me...took me.

I flinch as the metal door opens and slams shut. "Good morning Miss L/N."

"Who are you...where am I?" My voice cracks.

"Drink this." He walks over to me with a glass. I quickly shake my head. "It's just water." He holds up the glass and drinks it. I slowly nod and take the glass, chugging the water. "I am Baron Strucker. You were delivered to us in Sokovia."

"Why am I here?"

"Well...we were targeting someone else but you came along. My men crashed into you....once I knew who you were I wanted you here." He nods.

"Why me? I'm a nobody." I shake my head.

"You are an excellent doctor. Young but excellent. We could use you here."

"Who's we?" I ask.

"Hydra. Get some rest, I'll have my men bring you some food. We'll chat tomorrow."

"Wait!" I yell as he walks out. I slowly stand up and yank out the IV out of my arm. I gasp in pain and hold onto my stomach as I walk to the door and try to open it. "Let me out!"

I slept for awhile and had to assume it was the next day. There was no windows in this horrible room. Strucker eventually comes back and pulls a chair up next to me. "Let's chat."

"Please...let me go home. I won't be any use to you. I don't even know our exact location, I won't say anything."

"No. You are a great use to us. Not only your medical skills...but we will be starting experiments soon. I want to try it out on you."

"No...please let me go."

"We'll start once you've healed."

Strucker didn't lie, once my wound healed he shoved me into a room with some sort of scepter. I slowly walk towards it as it floats in front of me.

Something about this strange scepter made me want to go closer to it, I reach my hand out and flinch as the gem in the scepter explodes and floats towards me.

It's yellow glow flows into my chest, I hover above the ground as I see a strange sight in front of me. I could see a shadow of myself, beside me was a familiar man also hovering above the ground with a cloak.

In that moment I feel the power within me burst, causing me to fall back and black out.
