Tony and I sit above and listen to the alien. "In all the time I've served Thanos, I've never failed him. If I were to reach our rendezvous on Titan with the Time Stone still attached to your vaguely irritating person, there would be... judgement." Needles start to push into Stephen's face, causing an obviously painful whitish subcutaneous glow at each touch. "Give me... the stone."

"I'm gonna kill him." I whisper.

Tony and I are suddenly tapped on our shoulders, we turn to see Stephen's cloak. "Wow you're a seriously loyal piece of outerwear, aren't you?" Tony sighs.

"Yeah, uh, speaking of loyalty...."

Tony, the Cloak, and I turn to see Peter descending from above.
"What the-"

"I know what you're gonna say."

"You should not be here." I point.

"I was gonna go home-"

"I don't wanna hear it." Tony shakes his head.

"But it was such a long way down and I just thought about you on the way..."

"And now we gotta hear it." Tony says to me.

"And I kinda stuck to the side of the ship. And this suit is ridiculously intuitive, by the way. So if anything, it's kinda your fault that I'm here."

Tony turns angrily. "What did you just say?"

"I take that back. And now I'm here in space."

"Yeah. Right where I don't want you to be. This isn't Coney Island. This isn't a field trip. It's a one-way ticket. You hear me? Don't pretend like you thought this through. You could not have possibly thought this through." Tony points.

"No. I did think this through."

"You could not have possibly thought this through." I cross my arms.

"It's just...you can't be a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man if there's no neighborhood." He waits for our reaction as we just stare at him. "Okay. That didn't really make any sense, but you know what I'm trying to say."

"Come on. We got a situation." He leads Peter over to a viewpoint on the torture below. Peter crouches to study the situation, the Cloak leaning over his shoulder. "See him down there? He's in trouble. What's your plan? Go."

"Um. Okay, okay... uh..." Peter and the Cloak pop back upright. "Okay. Did you ever see this really old movie, Aliens?"

"Tony...I really love this kid." I smile.

We make a quick plan, I slowly hover down. "Painful aren't they? They were originally designed for microsurgery. And any one of them..." The alien stops as I land down behind him with my power ready at my hands. "Could end your friend's life in an instant."

"I gotta tell you, he's not really my friend." I shrug.

"You've saved nothing. Your powers are inconsequential compared to mine."

"Yeah, but the kid's seen more movies." I smirk.

Tony fires a rocket from his shoulder which pierces the side of the ship to the aliens right and begins to suck everything out with depressurization, especially the alien and his large objects. Stephen is pulled loose of his pinnings, loses the needles, but also heads for the hole. The Cloak wraps around his arm and an anchor point, but Stephen's arm slips loose and he keeps going. Peter shoots a web strand at Stephen as I use my power to grab his other hand.

He slips out of my hold and goes flying towards the hole, legs form out of Peter's suit to stop them. "Yes! Wait what are those?!"
Peter crouches with his new spider-legs, and makes a mighty leap to pulls them both back inside. Tony quickly sprays something onto the hole to plug it up.

Stephen hits the floor, I rush over and help him up. "Not friends?" He instantly asks.

"We're not friends. We're lovers." I smirk. Stephen smiles and kisses me.

"Hey, we haven't officially met." Peter offers the Cape his hand to shake. It ignores his offer and flies over to Stephen. "Cool."

Stephen holds onto my side and turns to Tony. "We've gotta turn this ship around."

"Yeah. Now he wants to run. Great plan."

Stephen sighs. "No, I want to protect the stone."

"And I want you to thank me now. Go ahead, I'm listening." Tony points.

"For what? Nearly blasting me into space?"

"Who just saved your magical ass? Me." Tony points to himself.

"I seriously don't know how you fit your head into that helmet."

"Admit it. You should have ducked out when I told you to. I tried to bench you. You refused." Tony rolls his eyes.

"Unlike everyone else in your life, I don't work for you."

"Okay guys...stop comparing ego's." I roll my eyes.

"We're now in a flying doughnut billions of miles away from Earth with no backup."

Peter raises his hand. "I'm backup."

"No. You're a stowaway. The adults are talking."

"I'm sorry, I'm confused as to the relationship here. Wh-- what is he, your ward?" Stephen asks.

"No. I'm Peter, by the way." He holds his hand out.

Stephen shakes his hand. "Dr. Strange."

"Oh, we're using our made-up names. Um... I'm Spider-Man, then."

"This ship is self-correcting its course. Thing's on autopilot." Tony suddenly says.

"Can we control it? Fly us home?" Stephen asks, Tony doesn't answer. "Stark?"

"Yeah?"

"Can you get us home?" I ask.

"Yeah I heard you. I'm thinking... I'm not so sure we should."

"Under no circumstance can we bring the Time Stone to Thanos. I don't think you quite understand what's at stake here."

"No. It's you who doesn't understand, that Thanos has been inside my head for six years since he sent an army to New York and now he's back! And I don't know what to do. So I'm not so sure if it's a better plan to fight him on our turf or his but you saw what they did, what they can do. At least on his turf, he's not expecting it. So I say we take the fight to him. Doctor, Y/N. Do you concur?" He asks us.

"Alright, Stark. We go to him. But you have to understand... if it comes to saving you both or the kid or the Time Stone... I will not hesitate to let any of you die. I can't, because the fate of the universe depends on it." Stephen nods.

"Thanks, honey." I pat his back sarcastically.

"Nice. Good. Moral compass. We're straight." Tony steps over to Peter, he formally taps each of Peter's shoulders with the edge of his hand. "Alright, kid. You're an Avenger now." He doesn't look at him as he says those words, knowing well what he is signing him up for.

Peter looks at Tony in disbelief, and then cycles through delight, satisfaction, pride and determination, and braces himself for what's to come.
